Although it seems like Simona is the villain here, she was actually one of the victims. From the beginning, all the boys treated her like a pet and trained her to expect them to give her attention. Imagine if she was a pampered little dog, petted and given treats and played with all the time. She would have no idea that her behavior was wrong or upsetting to someone else, because it was constantly reinforced by the men. She became addicted to their attention, so when Oliver's wife tried to come between them, Simona naturally saw it as a threat to her survival. The true perpetrators of this crime are the men. Each and every one of them enjoyed using her. Oliver loved having a wife he could have sex with and a girlfriend he could play with, so of course he was never going to stop seeing her. It's very satisfying that his wife figured all this out in the end and realized that it was her husband's sick game, playing two women off each other for his attention. She made all the right decisions and finally broke free from all the men in her life, so now she can live for herself. This is what every woman needs to do: stop living a life in orbit around someone else. Stop buying into what the culture says about a woman's role.
