As usual a very nice video, thanks a lot! I did the same not long time ago. I put a checkbox at the top Cell G1 and used the function onEdit to watch whether G1 is changed. Then I read the Value of G1 and and write it to all Cells as you did.

Thank you for your great instructional video, there are several ways to accomplish similar things on the web, however, yours was most complete and allowed me to do exactly what I wanted to do. I'm using a Google Worksheet to improve clinical documentation of treatment performed (no identifiable data is ever transferred to Google). One push of the 'Clear Form' button that I was able to create clears all checkboxes on both worksheets I use to improve documentation since every EMR/EHR software really misses the mark and doesn't allow providers to put together information nicely. Sure, there is a lot of work behind the end result (in my case), however, without you I'd still be struggling to find a solution to easily clear data. Thanks again!!!
Very understandable for a non coder. I am looking for a how to take Google Sheet check boxes in a online form like document with Yes and No checkboxes side by side. Where a user cannot check both the Yes and No boxes. Do you have any ideas how to make that practical for me to implement? PS, there are many such Y/N corresponding boxes.

You'll need to use onEdit function and have it uncheck all the other boxes. The issue with onEdit is that it runs really slowly and user experience is usually weird.
I'm currently making a list of parts for the game car mechanic simulator so when I'm playing I can just check the parts I need to buy then go ahead and buy them instead of going back and forth so I'm hoping this works for me, thanks!

This is great, but it doesn't work with the Google Spread sheet app on the phone. I created a workout checklist and I was trying to figure out how to uncheck all with one tap. I did this and it worked on the PC , but when I tried it on the app it won't do anything other than giving you the option to delete the Image.

Not really. That's why I prefer a button or a menu item to click on. That way users expects to wait after clicking the button.

To be honest, I don't think we can blame the user for this one :)
I would think that hitting delete should uncheck the checkbox, not delete it.
