Silas, you looked like the guy rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic. I really enjoy your videos and just how you go about your life. Keep on keeping on!
I really appreciate these walk arounds as a 3D artist. These vehicles make great references and usually you show enough of a vehicle to be able to digitally recreate it so that it's never forgotten whether through video or as a 3D Model. Look forward to future videos and treasures!
Enormous amount of work you do in a short period of time, amazing. I hustled hard when I was younger, now 67 and enjoying a busy retirement building rat rods and living the car lifestyle full time
I had a friend who bought a dismantler yard in 1976. He secured a $100,000 line of credit for operating capital. He'd buy cars all year for 25-$50 each, selling used parts then each January crush out maybe 100 (mayber 1000 I don't know) ton to pay off his credit line. He never was about getting weakthy, he paid his mortgage and bought a couple homes. Reminds me of years around him.
Crush, crush, crush! Kill, kill, kill! Clean clean clean! I have waited for so long to watch these wrecks turned into money! Great deal SIlas! Always active, fun, and interesting. Thanks for a lift, two times weekly! Oh yeah, get rid of those crappy old house trailers!
You know what you are doing and don't need any advice but I have an idea for the longer cars and trucks. It looks like you put about eight cars in a trailer. Bundles of two. The longer pick ups and so crush with the forks and add a crushed car from the crusher so you have the same eight and hopefully you get paid the greater amount. But by watching this channel you are very experienced. Great videos.
it is kinda nice seeing an area that isnt effected by the wildfires(at least doesn’t look bad) I live right outside of where all the bad stuff is and it is bad out here to the point it is unhealthy to be outside for extended periods of time. Keep up your multitasking work as a lot of people love it(obviously) and im sure you are going to get much bigger in the near future❤❤
Preparing the Site for the Crusher next Week - man - I can't wait - its gonna be very Exciting indeed ! Great Busy Video and many Cheers from Australia !!!!
Good one! That '77-78 Dodge Utiline (12:00) has a Grille and bed that would bring $1500 here (Toronto). I sold a pair of those fenders last year for $600. Wish you were closer..........
Silas , Get ahold of someone in the National Dragboat assoc. They love to build 455 Buick engines for drag boats . As you probably know they are one tough engine . Maybe contact any local drag boaters . I used to run hydroplanes and the drag boat guys were always looking for 455`s to build for their boats .
You getting ready to play ring toss with those rims? As good as you are with the loader I bet you could do it. Really enjoying all your videos. Thanks for sharing your adventures. Peace
It's sad to see things crushed and go away but hey maybe that 50 Chevy 60 international whatever it might be it was made from recycled materials from the 1920s or thirties possibly. It's silas's circle of life. AKA Lion King movie 🍿. But it's very interesting to see how you save certain items from instrument clusters to a truck cab. Are maximizing your return for the time you put in. If all of us were honest out here watching a video we would know that time is the most valuable commodity. Thanks for another good video.
Loved the video of the action. Great video of the junk and old cars & trucks. Out of all the old trucks I have seen I have only seen one 1954 truck & it was at the auction. You said one of friends bought it. Hate to see it cut up or crushed. I had a 1954 3100 pickup.🛻🛻
Man your property is soo cool! It’s just not something you’d see here in the uk, would love to go to American one day and visit places like this, maybe combine it with buying a truck or car, i want a 72-76 d100 short bed step side so much, also quite like the 3rd gen Dodge Ram vans for some reason or just a 70s mopar muscle car
I couldn’t do your job I would save and keep all the old cars and trucks and have more money going out than coming in . You do have some grate projects come in I wish I didn’t live so far away
Let's crush Salis and make some money to clear space to get more old trucks for wall art thank you for sharing and your time was really great never miss a video and can't wait for next video.
I’m new to you a friend of mine turned me onto this page I have a 40 Plymouth two door coupe I need two rear fenders. Where do you have how much to ship to Michigan?
You can not every thing save for later, you try it i see, some people looking for that special part, and you safe it for sale.. 400 cars in the crusher, ye room and space that is what you need for new stuff.
@@AdventuresMadeFromScratch Thank you for respons, i can follow that we have sometimes 2000 crushes cars without engine and stack it 20 high and we need a good price 2 or 3 or 5 cents more a kilo is a lot €€ more on 1200 ton
I watch these vid's and it makes me a little sad that some of the cars and trucks get cut up. he has a few that i would like to get but i don't have the $$$$$$ to pay his high price I been looking for an old ford or chevy truck cab to build me a hot rod truck from.
Hey Silas when was the last time that you saw a 69-70 Chevy Kings wood wagon. 70 was the last year of this body style, It was the same body style as an Impala for those 2 years
Well you wanna cross something why don't you just happen there and pull a switch in GL power? You can take it just for fun have a great day enjoy what you're do it sometime
Is it just me that thinks the truck should have gone more forward on the trailer for nose weight? Seen a lot of trailers lose control from having no nose weight. :) Maybe I missed something with that rig
Silas, you looked like the guy rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic. I really enjoy your videos and just how you go about your life. Keep on keeping on!
I love clean-up videos like this!
Thanks Silas, the yard is going to look so much better after you've done crushing! and keep on harvesting those farm trucks!!

Is that a cool pac air conditioner under the dash of the 63 Chevy truck you just got in

Every time…and I mean EVERY TIME that I drive into a scrap yard I get a flat tire. I’ve 10ply tires and it makes no difference.

It looks to me that you spend a lot of time playing tetras Salis 😂😂👍👍
What kind of crusher is it that flattens something and also crushes it into a cube shape instead of just flattening it?
Let's crush Salis and make some money to clear space to get more old trucks for wall art thank you for sharing and your time was really great never miss a video and can't wait for next video.
Junkyard jenga.
All the late model vehicles getting crushed.a sad sight.
Honestly you do need a metal pulverizer something that will chew up metal and that way you can just stack it and scoop it and sell it !🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤫
It would be nice to see if you had your own crusher.
7:02 I wonder what these buildings are, bunkhouse, office or HQ?
Hello from Michigan. Can't you haul the crushed cars on flat bed trailers? Just curious. I do really enjoy your videos. Keep up the good work.
I’m new to you a friend of mine turned me onto this page I have a 40 Plymouth two door coupe I need two rear fenders. Where do you have how much to ship to Michigan?
I remember years ago watching the Crusher and his cousin Dick the Bruiser.
You can not every thing save for later, you try it i see, some people looking for that special part, and you safe it for sale.. 400 cars in the crusher, ye room and space that is what you need for new stuff.

Wish I knew how to get ahold of you! We collect IH pickups! We’d be interested in a lot!

It’s time for you to get your own crusher. I know many thousands of $$$. But still be way more efficient for profits.
No way I could afford one unfortunately. About 125k for a used one
