This is such a great episode🎉❤ I think as women, we need to be more sensitized on the importance of prenatal care & this is one sector that we could emulate the Cuban healthcare system. For them,the moment the doctor confirms you are pregnant, you cannot miss going for clinics ( they are a lot & if you miss,it is such a huge deal)..hence the extremely low infant & maternal mortality rates.
I went through the condition and was induced at 34 weeks because we were both in danger.We stayed in the nursery 2weeks i thank God my baby is a year older now and very healthy.I was faithful to clinics with normal bp untill week 29 that swelling started,i wish no woman that condition,i almost lost it
This here is my story. Had pre eclampsia at 26 weeks, emergency CS at 31 weeks, on 14th Dec 2023, as baby had stopped growing. Baby stayed in NICU for 22 days but unfortunately we lost her on 5th Jan 2024. Rest in peace baby Ashley. And thank you Cele and Ashley for creating this awareness.
Preeclampsia is a silent killer, it’s true it affects developmental milestones for most kids. Speaking of experience and glad for bringing this awareness to women.

I had pre eclampsia in 2019 na I was checked BP every clinic, I was 27 weeks by the time I was told nikona shida and by week 29 baby died in my womb
I'm so sorry for your loss.
This is my story .....i had preeclampsia in my two pregnancies and had deliveries at 32 weeks and 30 weeks.....but i thank God we all made it out 🎉
