A weekly series. This one based on the S13 generation of the Nissan S-Body, commonly referred to as the Silvia. All clips filmed by me, subscribe for more.
Each month I will upload a video, of about 10 minutes long, showcasing a particular make or model of car. This month I'm celebrating the Nissan S13, PS13 and RPS13, including models such as the 180SX, 200SX and 240SX and variations such as the Sileighty and Pignose.

I love the sound of the S13 engine, doesn't sound too rough or harsh. I love that muted kind of sound you get with it, what is that?
i think its just how the exhaust is built, like maybe an aftermarket mufflre or just a car that hasnt been tuned yet with cat back or somthing

One thing with SR20's, its so easy to hear who has the stock exhaust manifold, and who's got aftermarket. I actually like the stock manifold sound, filthy!

its not the manifolds. youre hearing the differences between internal and external gates. lots of guys modify the stock one to run those

Most of the hatchbacks in this video (UK spec 200SX) actually have the CA18. We didn't get the SR20 in the UK until the S14.
@@Scrubworks we actually did get the sr20 in what's known as the ps13. The ps13 came with sr20. The s13 had the sr20de and c18det. Also the ka24.

S13 and 14 are generally underrated, s15 gets all the glory. Don’t get me wrong, the s15 is dope, I just think the s13 and 14 need more love.

If the S chassis had lore, it would be some kind of mischievous prince or something. It's impressive how each generation can be built to do so many different kinds of driving, some options more illegal than others.
