In case anybody's wondering, the rally cars have a special event where they drive the whole circuit 'backwards', which is why their accidents, crashes and incidents look so unusual.
Honestly seeing that Skoda crash at the same place twice, and then the Escort crash at the same place made me think there was oil or something else slippery on the track.
@@_Zekken the track does look pretty slick where the skoda and escort crashed. but I think the Renault just gave it too much throttle when coming down a corner with severe camber.

5:39 I just laughed at the Corsa B's wheel cover popping off and rolling down in the grass hahaha. Had one of these as my first car and it also kept losing its wheel covers for no reason so that doesn't surprise me XD
The 14 inch steel wheels I use in winter on my 1990 Volvo 240 estate used to get lost regularly. Now I use cable ties to hold them on. No more problems!
Frankly I didn't expect the green GT3 RS @1:07 to broke its rear suspension arm so easily. In comparison the first car went off track way harder and didn't have any trouble...
It's all about the angle of impact, speed, mass, amount of friction, and the design of the suspension which determines where the forces are directed and what the peak loads experienced by components are. Small differences can change the outcome dramatically. For example, the Starlet at the beginning hit the curbing front-first with less lateral velocity on the rear axle, compared to the GT3RS which had lots of lateral velocity and hit a different section of the same curb (which may be a steeper angle).
I am actually surprised so many cars could drive away without taking immediate damage from those sideways curb impacts. That's damage waiting to manifest at a later time.
I'll never understand the desire to push a classic car to the limits so it eats a barrier. I understand wanting to run the track but some of these old cars deserve better care. Thank you for the time & effort in these vids Auto Addiction!

I feel so bad for the Cayman at 7:00, the driver caught the slide at one of the most difficult sections to recover on and then just got collected by the Mercedes driver behind.
Well actually you have to. When open to the public it's not a racing track, it's a normal road where all rules apply: Using indicators when changing lanes/overtaking/getting back on the road. You also have to drive always on the right side of the road and you are only allowed to overtake on the left side. Driving race line is also not allowed. The police could issue a ticket every second if they wanted. But they don't, and one of the reasons is that drivers there are obliged to be thoughtful and watch each other. Using indicators to show that you are about to enter the road again is just that.
