Buick please bring this to the States!!! I would totally upgrade my 2014 to a this one!! Love all the tech and the looks arent that bad!! Would love to see a bigger wheel option, but all in all it’s a great looking car!! Buick please bring this car back to the USA!
2:24 lol. the same. i'm almost middle aged but I remember in the 80s to 2000s from magazines, Buick is that ageing brand with old car designs and technology.😅
I have a LaCrosse now.... Love it. If Buick brought the LaCrosse back to the USA in this style... And the same $35K Price! I'd buy another in a heart beat.
Buicks don't sell in my country, but something about the brand attracted me a lot. Acknowledging that I've only seen them in pictures, the brand's cars have always seemed quite beautiful to me, if only uninspiring. This version unfortunately is one of the most generic vehicles I've ever seen, missing the swollen lines of the Lucene or even the Holden rebadge called park Avenue in China
besides styling, it doesn't have thing going on that makes it actually stands out, but yea sometimes people look at brand recognition too much, so when they happens to make 1 good car, barely any people look at it, look at Mazda, they've been killing it the last 5-6 years, and only getting better recently, bur they don't really sell in the US
If they offered that car for $34K here in the US, I'd buy it. I currently have a 2014 LaCrosse & love it... & I am NOT scared by new tech. I'm just not that overly impressed with it either, & it's not a necessity. Still, aside from the overly garish Lexus-look grille, I like this car. Wish GM would wake up & make a large sedan here under the Buick name again. They'd practically have the market to themselves.
Damn, I REALLY want one! I'm trying to hold back on getting rid of my LaCrosse CXS because I love it, but I need the updated technology. I already have people saying they want to know when I'm going to sell it and I've actually had people come up to me in parking lots and tell me what a beautiful car it is! It's the Mocha metallic, but had some pin striping (very subtle) added, and it just made the looks of the vehicle pop. I'm looking at the 2019's, but gosh, I'd really like a 2024 LaCrosse.
Unpopular opinion: I really like the new design language. It's controversial, but I love how bold and unique it is and we need that in a car market of a lot of ugly lookalikes. I wish Americans would stop being snobs about SUVs and trucks and that Buick would just bring it over here. Even if the top trim spec'd out at $50k I still think it would do excellently. At $34k it's a no-brainer!
Interesting to see how quickly Buick and Opel/Vauxhall's design languages diverged once they split. I do think the Opel/Vauxhall Visor is be a better excecuted design
It's just a Vauxhall Insignia. The Insignia was on the E2XX platform and the LaCrosse is on the P2XX platform, which is the same as the E2XX but slightly longer. Just buy a 2.0L Turbo Insignia if you're desperate for something like the LaCrosse.
@@drivinginthedcbaarea of course it's not, but Buick products for the last decade or more have just been rebadged Vauxhall/Opel products. The LaCrosse is a longer wheelbase Regal, and the Regal is a badge swapped Insignia.
@@benanderson89 except for the regal and encore, all of them have had MAJOR differences. So no, it's not just a simple badge swap. And guess what? A lot of GM products are that way because-imagine this-it helps them save money! 🤯 And FYI, the Enclave was not based on an opel at all, but rather the Chevy Traverse, and the Envision was an entirely new car. So stop being such an opel snob.
A decent looking, comfort oriented, Buick sedan selling at a good price? I wish they still sold this in America, I would have found the car perfect enough to fill my niche requirements for a new car. I would prefer it to have less tech and more classic and unique Buick styling cues.
I think they should bring them back if not someone in the United States should start their own Auto Company in the USA and say FU to the entire Auto industry and bring back the sedan that's my opinion
Looking at the front grille, one would think the Lexus designer had jumped ship. Look is subjective, even the infamous Lexus shark grille can look good in certain models.
A few years ago, Buick's products could compete with Toyota Volkswagen in the Chinese market, but due to their gearbox malfunction, they now have to rely on price competition.
Thanks for the review. I was wondering, could you make a video about the (probably estimated, since I don't know sources about performance testing in China) quickest 0-100 kmh vehicles and suvs? It's really easy for car lovers to know that lucid air sapphire and model s plaid are the quickest sedan on sale, but quite hard to find out what are the quickest sedans or off-roaders on sale in China!
Damm shame My wife traded in her 2013 Le Crosse Premium 3 this year with only 50K for a 2023 Envision. She loved that car but there were no aftermarket parts available to repair the ongoing issues to pass inspection.
America really loses out on a lot of great sedans. What we do get sometimes is a step behind. I.e this dash in this car are simpler in states. Will we get a ford explorer like the Chinese mkt??
Full Size Sedans Rule! I apologize in my previous comment, it came up (worst) when I meant to say ones who drove Caprice Classics etc. I have talked to many Full size car owners that hate their smaller cars. I feel safe in my big Impala or Caprice, if somebody hits you, you have a chance, little cars not so much. I drive a Tahoe now. Because they don't makes Caprices anymore 😔
Was really hoping they would give it some sort of PHEV or EV powertrain for this generation, but I think the current sales numbers for the model didn't justify the cost. Buick is coming out with a bunch of EVs, but they seem to mostly be all-new models, like the Electra E5.
This car is a special model, and to be honest, the quality is very poor. The new car wouldn't start the night after I got it. There was also a traffic jam on the Ring Road during the evening rush hour. It suddenly shut off and locked the car and sounded the alarm. It was my first car. To be honest, I was speechless. I will stick to buying a Honda in the future.
We mostly cover cars from Chinese brands, but we will occasionally review cars from other countries that are only available in China (or only available in China and a few other markets outside of the US and EU). Most Toyotas available in China are also available in other major markets, and the ones that aren’t available in other markets are just kind of boring…
As long as Buick update their body styles much quicker and make them bigger to keep the luxury name in the brand. Cadillac should ditch sedans since their too sporty for luxury now n stick with huge SUVs
Interesting car! The design is unique, but not remarkable, and I think it will look bland in a couple of years. The ventilated massaging rear seats are impressive - you generally have to get an executive sedan for those features. I assume they're not cooled, but it's still nice for summer road trips.
why isn’t General Motors trying Australia Buick China first before Cadillac? As Buick at least will have a chance of funds , numbers or a lifeline from the CCP in the Asian Pacific region will have a chance unlike Cadillac. As Australia hasn’t forgotten How GM & Cadillac left Australia last time.
How fast do you usually drive in the United States? This kind of horsepower is completely sufficient in China, because the maximum speed limit in China is 120 kilometers per hour, which can exceed 20% at most.
I had a 1999 buick park avenue got rid of it the parts were not out there what upsets me buick stops models and switches and when that happens the parts go away ford makes the F150 has for ever but idk
The American Icons live on ...... in China!
That's what is dumpster for.
Ain't it a shame...
Terrible!
GMC did well hahaha!
even ford sedan are only in china😅

Yes! I'd trade my 2016! And give it more horsepower!
I own a 2014 w 200,000 miles

2:24 lol. the same. i'm almost middle aged but I remember in the 80s to 2000s from magazines, Buick is that ageing brand with old car designs and technology.😅
I just bought a envision I would have bought that lacrosse if they sold it in the US!
Needs to be sold in North America. Are you listening, Buick???? 🤪
I sure wish they would listen! Ship them from China then, I want a NEW Buick LaCrosse!!!

@@WheelsboyAmerican legend !
Looks like the dearly departed Avalon (which is also still sold in China).
The US car market has devolved into boring gray crossovers.
Sadly so……..
Amazing Buick car
mejor el 2017
Why don't we have this car? Everybody does not Want a crossover GM. Super clean car I have a 13.

The Buick brand is bring back somewhat nostalgic feel
GM should have kept Pontiac .
Interesting to see how quickly Buick and Opel/Vauxhall's design languages diverged once they split.

Opel/Vauxhall went on this retrofuturism that looks so absolutely amazing. Can't say I like Buick's new language, it's a bit generic.
What a shame I think it might do well in the UK, and I think it looks better than the previous one.

Buick absolutely must bring back the sedan or something like it and raise it back up off the ground.

I have a 2018 premium. I love it. I feel like this new model is a downgrade.

I wish that cars would sell in the USA again. Even Tesla sells a boatload of Model Y’s over my Model 3’s numbers.
And the Impala 💔
That was a great sedan as well
I never understood the suv trend
They should install the grille in the middle of the headlights cause that is the icon of Buick
But the side badge of Avenier still look elegant.good job!
Don't like that car.
I want a Buick avista2 door luxury sports coupe. With leather seats 😂

Is there any way to get it in the U.S?
Why the design language (especially the exterior) is "similar" to NIO's ?
How can you buy one and get it back to the US
I like the interior
To bad Buick isn’t being sold in RHD in my part of Asia , the pacific region or the commonwealth
4:58 Toyota Mirai has that too
its interesting cadillac and buick still sell sedan in china but not in us and canada
