I recommend IAI belts on the 13mms, they have higher velocity and can knock out a pilot or set a plane on fire quicker, combined with -stealth on the 20mms which replaces the IT shell with APHE as well
In this game, German planes and tanks are weakened, while Soviet tanks and planes are the most powerful, because... you know, the Russians hate Germany, and they seriously disrespect history.
11:01 I’ve watched this video like the fifth time as FW-190D-9 has become one of my favorite plane And I still can’t figure out how can this plane go so well at this kind of moment This is insane
because the dora is 500kg lighter than the rest of 190s and has a more balanced engine location, that's why it turns so well especially at slow speed. It's fun to keep up with yaks.
This is some great prop content that's been sorely lacking in recent years since Adamtheenginerd left!! Can't believe you don't have more subs but you've definitely earned mine :D
better than defyn's video. more information, more varried examples of what could happen and how to deal with it. it even had the very thing i wanted an answer too. nice!
I appreciate this video, instructions of what to do during battle is so helpful. I am just about to this stage and find myself needing to learn the finer points.
Amazing video, you are explaining clearly what you are doing and why, that's really helpful. Btw, it have a adamTheEngineerd feeling that i really like. Is this on purpose?
Impressive flying (a lot of very well timed beautiful kills) and amazing commentary that explains your every move! Very good job indeed. Well, but I still have one question left. Why did you climbed so steeply before taking on Tempest mkV? You went down to 240-220 IAS. Wouldn't it be better to climb at higher speeds energy wise?
I'm not sure why I climbed so steeply. Perhaps I was scared of the Tempest zoom climbing up to me, and so erred on the side of more altitude rather than more total energy. But then again, I could've just climbed at best climb speed and then zoomed for more altitude at the end of the climb, which would've gotten me even higher. So, I don't know.
enjoyed the video. to me, this plane is only for the skilled. it's a lot a harder to manuever than most planes and in real life, it didnt have to face enemies the way it does in the game. it only had to take out bombers and noob p51s, which if you imagine doing so in this game youd have a blast with such an easy time. also air target belts are best for 13mm , not stealth. theyre the most likely to set an airplane on fire, i say this from an experience perspective. even though the others are ap-i, try them and youll see what i mean, d9 is in my top 5 favs. thanks for the upload
While I agree with you overall. Noob p51 is probably the furthest from the truth: IRL, USA pilot had a long, safe training by aces in America and were pretty skilled, German pilot didn't have a lot of flight time(limited fuel), didn't have safe training camp and because aces had to keep fighting, the instructors quality wasn't the greatest.
@@briannormant3622 yeah well you're most likely american so i cant argue with you. The p51 pilots had nowhere near the expirience german aces did because of the facts you just stated

@@briannormant3622 No practice like real practice. The German pilots who lived through shit training, and subsequent weeks to months of combat, would have been much better pilots than the American Trainees. No amount of training prepares you for combat. You shoot yourself in your foot with your own argument. Now, if we're talking Fresh out of training, both sides, yeah sure I'd say the Americans take it, but considering that the American pilots had most likely flown less sorties, if any at all, they would be completely new. I've been using 45m fuel, as apparently it balances the weight of the aircraft and increases the elevators effectiveness, can you comment on this? Am I just making myself slower for no reason? 😂
@@Renta352In simulation battle mode I practically only use the FW190 (A1, A4 and A5), and I always fly with 45 minutes of fuel, and I'll explain why. When flying with the minimum or 30 minutes, whenever I got hit in the tanks, all the fuel leaked, especially when it caught fire. But after I'm flying with 45min, whenever the fire starts the tank hardly manages to seal, and ends up extinguishing the fire when all the fuel in the tank reached is exhausted, but with 30 minutes or less of fuel if you are hit in the tank you you will run out of fuel in a few seconds, but if you use 45 minutes the tank hit will be completely depleted in the second tank will save at least another 15 minutes of flight after the first tank loses all the liquid. Allowing many times to return to the aerodrome and repair.

Man can i ask which ammos have higher velocity for the germans and is there a way to check it from something like plane statistics
Go to penetration analysis. Each shell/round type's individual stats are shown.
I’m fairly new to realistic air battles. I heavily rely on tracer rounds for aiming. Are stealth rounds very good for the D9 ?

I simply consider the guns to be close enough together that convergence is unnecessary.

Maybe a gameplay video. There's already a Fighter School episode on the P-47D.

May I ask why do you prefer to havw none convergence?
The guns on the Dora are all pretty close to the nose. Gun convergence isn't necessary.

It's the speed at which the Dora gains energy the fastest. A higher climb angle will net you more altitude and less speed, but less total energy.
