golden orb spiders

Golden Orb spiders spinning their magnificent webs and one spider traps a bee in her web and dinner is served. The spider encounters were at the Royal Malewane Safari Lodge in South Africa's greater Kruger National Park area.

South African here. These things make absolutely massive communal webs. Found one once that spanned three meters between two trees.
I walked into a similar one at night as well. I do not like these things.

I loved this narration! Was looking for a spider my brother and I came across while hiking on the Drakensberg mountains think this might be it how big can the golden orb spider get? The one we came across had a medium to small body but an enormous leg span!
