2022 Porsche Macan Review-Is the Facelift Worth It?

- In this video I review the newly facelifted 2022 Porsche Macan drive it and share my thoughts on it.
For 2022 Porsche has face-lifted the Macan, with revised front fache, side blades, and more agressive rear diffuser the Macan has a more sleek look from last years model. On the interior Porsche has upgraded the look of the interior to match the look of its other products with the addition of the revised haptic feedback panel gloss black toggles and hvac control replacing the physical buttons with a gloss black haptic feedback panel, and slightly revised the steering wheel. Starting at 54,900 the Macan is the entryway into the Porsche world. The base Macan is powered by a 2l turbocharged inline 4 cylinder producing 261 hp and 295 lbs of torque mated to a 7 speed dual clutch transmission with all wheel drive. I'll do 0-60 in just 6 seconds with a top speed of 144 mph and gets fuel economy.

I love my 2021 macan’s physical buttons.
Great review!!! I drive up 58 everyday to Bethel. Every now and then I take my father’s cayenne e-hybrid to work through 58. Always puts a smile on my face.

@@JamesSalvatore Air’s a crazy expensive option that you’d be nuts to spec on a base model, James, so sadly the car you drove’s not representative of how a 2litre Macan usually handles or rides.
I’ve tried all models, the base mode, the gts and the s. Since the s now has the gts engine I believe its the sweet spot. Especially since it already comes with better standard equipment - including nicer looking rims. :-) For the US where you don‘t drive more than 70mph, the base model should suffice though.

The haptic feedback buttons are a NO for me. When mobile phones first came around I remember them saying how many more collisions what happened because of distracted drivers so now that many cars have touch screens and have eliminated physical buttons, it seems like it will require more focus to get to certain vehicle settings. I want physical buttons for HVAC and basic settings
Have they fixed the oil leaking issues?

Oil leak issues are models 2015-2018. 2019+ they fixed that

Nope not worth it especially when an electric version is around the corner. I have the 2017 mint Mascan S now with 19K milles and the only thing I am do is some aftermarket tuning and a few cosmetic upgrades but I love the car. Thave been doing alot of silly facelifts lately I dont like that Porsche keeps doing that
There's nothing clean or better looking about touch screens and swipe screens/ buttons, and all the garbage they're putting in the new cars. It's dangerous

I have a 2015 Macan S and it was my first Porsche... Let me tell you they are FANTASTIC vehicles and I feel way more respected and treated better than I have at Mercedes or Range Rover dealerships.

Not practical where I live in NC. There is virtually no infrastructure. Would only us locally and couldn’t even visit my son or daughter without a hassle. Someday maybe.

the macan is way faster than cayenne , porsche should just cancel the cayenne , cuz its gettin worse every year. why u made a less expensive model but faster than the expensive model in the same suv class.
thank god you are not working for porsche. china is the biggest market for porsche and they want the macan and cayenne. they don't care about sport driving, only status
I own a 2020 Porsche Cayenne turbo and I hate it. By far the worst vehicle I’ve ever had. Issues from here to Germany starting day one. STAY AWAY!

Look much more aggressive?? Really? Be honest. People don't even realize what changed in the look outside. Be honest man so your channel will draw more subscribers. Don't be afraid to say bad thing or negative things such as this stupid face-lift Porsche did for the last combustion engine Macan. It's a same. Def not worth the upgrade.
