Nice models Graham! I started with a second hand Cheetah, then for Christmas 84 i got an Audi Quattro which i really enjoyed making and running for a while until i swapped it for a second hand Sand Scorcher, and accumulated a Ford Ranger body and wheels, a NOS Sand Scorcher body, and second hand Super Champ (my favourite!). I really wish i still had them!
I was a bit late to building Tamiya radio control cars. I built a Nissan for a nephew. Then of course I wanted one for myself and the Grasshopper seemed a good model to start with. It’s straightforward to build thanks to the excellent Tamiya instructions. Also a good learner car for me! Nice to know about the ones you had maybe a Grasshopper would be a good way back into the hobby. Thank you for your comment
