Girl, I don’t know how you’re doing amazing in home school year after year. You must have great executive function skills. I have been homeschooling for 14 years and I’m always a mess year after year.
What’s your secret for organization success?

The Instincts book looks really cool. I was just recently introduced to Generations and I like their history and literature books.

Loved these ideas! Saved a few of the read alouds for myself to read since my kids are younger ❤️

The Instincts book looks really great for my twin girls! They raise caterpillars into moths and butterflies, and it would be such a blessing to have an interesting book like this one that gives God glory and credit.

We love the Bob Schultz books! His other ones are a little more geared towards older children, but we have enjoyed every one of them- our younger kids and my husband and I as well!

I didn’t know that campfire had state studies. We’re going to Alaska this year and we always learn about our destinations before we go.
We’ve been doing Notgrass 50 states but it’s very simple and on the surface, would love a deeper dive.
    Thanks for sharing! 💕

I love the idea of setting a timer for 60-90mins! I am doing a morning gather this coming year with my Jr and 6th grader. I just got the Do Hard Things book at a thrift store lol love it!! I will look into Instincts, my youngest loves those type as well.

Love this! You might like the book The Coddling of the American mind, the author is secular but its an excellent book by Jonathan Haidt. I hope to have my children read it before heading off to college!

Thanks for sharing Ashlee! I was wondering if you have any recommendations to read with my kids, specifically for my boys, to teach them to grown into a good man? My boys ages are 10 and 6 though, so anything you did in your boys earlier life that you would recommend?

Other than the Bible and forming their worldview and what makes a good man (being a godly man) no specific books.

Wonderful resources shared thank you for this! We’ve been doing TreeHouse schoolhouse (which I mention in nearly every video I make 😅) which has been great so far, but I wanted to branch out and see what else is out there!

Little random but on the topic of morning reading, is there anything you do for your voice to be able to read/speak here on UA-cam?
I struggle sometimes getting through our morning time just because my voice can’t 😅

Do you have your children just copy scripture right out of the Bible? I have younger children so I think they would need something with the verses printed out for them to copy and the youngest to trace. Do you any suggestions for that?
