it was depressing for me as well, this anime had so much potential but they had too many deaths that denied it a second season and also I hated how much characters they killed off, on the plus side it had really good world building and backstory in terms of what's going on, it was straight forward and not confusing

I personally don't care about this trope, not that I hate it or like it, I'm just indifferent to it. So I don't hate Lubbock because of this character trait but I can see why some may not like this trait and therefore dislike his character.
This scene for some reason made me think she had romantic feelings for tatsumi. I think Akame x Tatsumi could have been a beautiful love story. The author chose mine because he wanted to make the story unique. But a story doesn't have to be unique to be good. Even if we saw Akame x Tatsumi happening from miles away, it would have been a better love story tang Tatsumi x Mine. Imagine this, a girl who has a very tragic past and a lot lf issues meets someone that helps her change a little bit and help her fight her personal demons and face her past and eventually becomes and becomes a part of her life that can't be separated and eventually both develope romantic feelings for each other and become lovers. While Tatsumi x Mine is two comrades hate each other but even eventually have somewhat of a friendly relationship but get together because a local cult weirdo told them to. Mine is a pale imitation of a generic annoying tsundere imo and I still think Akame should have won.
Recommend everyone to watch the anime shown Akame Ga Kill and read the manga becuase they both have different endings and variations (the manga has a happier ending)!
Woah.. Everytime i hear Akame's voice in English i'm always in a sort of awe-like feeling, i watched the Anime in sub, but maybe i should go watch the dub too! I just feel a whole new connection to her character when i hear her voice dubbed :) (Maybe because i can only really understand English lol 😂) But honestly though, her catchphrases and lines she says before killing somebody just hit different in sub 🔥 And Akame's personality is Perfect to me! She's got that like-a-boss Assassin vibe, but she also has a Kind Heart overall! Akame is as Cute and Lovable as Always!! 💙
When almost all the assasins die at the end that made me wonder was that so post to be a way to end the series it just kill everyone off but like 3 of them xd
