Admiral Moo after a few hours the game wouldn’t except commands from the keyboard, then everything on my desktop started randomly changing sizes and opening programs on its own
@@JackedRado71 I'm not sure if thats a problem with CFS3. Have you run antivirus scans lately? Are all your input devices (keyboards, mice) functioning properly? Have you updated any drivers on your PC recently? This is more of a question for Microsoft support and I can't do much to help unfortunately.

I installed CFS3 along with 98% of my other games on my F:\ drive under F:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Combat Flight Simulator 3. I only install it on the F:\ drive because it's a 2TB classical hard drive that I dump my games and files on while I have my Windows Installation and programs I use often on my C:\ drive which is a 1TB M.2 Solid State Drive. The drive letter or installation directory shouldn't affect the functionality of the NO-CD patch. Hope this helps

It might cause compatibility issues so if anything doesn't look right or seems off, just enable and try those compatibility settings. Have fun with your new computer!!
I’m using a Saitek Cyborg Evo from around 2003. I’ve also played CFS3 with a Logitech F310 as well as an Xbox One controller so you should have no issues with new stuff
How do you run combat flight simulator 2 on either windows 7 or 10? I have installed it and even place it in compatibility mode, but the program refuses to boot. No errors, nothing missing, just refuses to even start. No menu even shows to show problem. Need help!
I'll do some research into it and make a video once I procure a copy. All of the games I make compatability tutorials on are games that I have actual copies of. I'm assuming that the fix for CFS2 would be similar to CFS3, and I know for a fact that CFS runs on Windows 10 no problem. Just give me a bit and I'll get back to you
No, it doesn't have to be C. "C\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Combat Flight Simulator 3" is the default installation directory, but you might have installed it in a different drive or directory
Ive downloded 7zip, but cant seem to get it to open as a 7zip file . Like it loads on ur top right of the screen as a 7zip, mine just saved as a normal zipped file and i cant open it
Have you tried right clicking the file and extracting it? If 7Zip installed correctly, you should see a 7Zip sub submenu that allows you to extract it, or you could it with 7zip directly

Hmmm, you downloaded 7zip, but did you double click the installer and install it? The .exe file from the 7Zip website is an installer for the program and you have to run that program before 7zip can work on your computer
And yeah, I know it's really stupid and frustrating. The whole reason this is happening is because of lazy programming a few decades ago, and now the software that stopped us from illegally copying discs (SecurROM and SafeDisc) can be used as an attack vector to hack peoples computers

As far as I know, CFS2 doesnt have the same problem as CFS3 does with SecuROM/Safedisc. If you encounter a similar problem as in this video, it's worth a try
