    Awesome video! I own both the Apex and Simplex, my first detector before that being the ace 200. I highly recommend the simplex to anyone considering it, if price point is an issue for you go for the simplex. They added some smaller coils on the simplex so you can get a smaller coil and the machine for still under the price of the apex and the small coil straight bangs separation on the head. I do enjoy the overall look and feel of the apex swinging but the brain of the device is just not quite there in my opinion. With that being said I wish everyone luck and remember anyone can find anything anywhere with any detector but being in the right place at the right time with the right detector tremendously increases your odds of finding treasure. Wish you all well!

    I ordered a Nokta Simplex after watching your videos. I looked at the Impact and Anfibio, but they seemed to have more issues at a higher cost. I also ordered the XP ORX with 9.5 to see if it helps me in the desert gold fields.

    • @PaystreakSuperfreak
      @PaystreakSuperfreak  2 роки тому +1

      The ORX should perform very well in the gold fields!! The Anfibio and Impact are very heavy machines and may be discontinued soon.

    i was close to getting an Apex.I like the way it looks but i'm glad i didn't..There are several videos showing how bad the Apex is on seperation...The modes change nothing except the notch segments..It's the same as my old GTA1000 iv'e had for 25 years..with the exception of multi freq..What was Garrett thinking..

    Nice Video 👍🏻 my experience - the Simplex with the sp22 handles EMI way better than the Stock 11" coil. So i can run the Simplex with high gain. The performance of the Apex doesnt impress me. I think the Vanquish is the more capable multi machine as i own also 540 and really impressed by its performance

    • @PaystreakSuperfreak

      I really really liked the Vanquish 440 performance in the iron and the target separation was great too. The Apex was a FLOP.

    A VERY fair test man. No quibbles...Waiting until Nokta Makro make us a continuous multi-frequency MD. That, will be me next MD, after four years past, if such a thing comes to pass. For me, NO MD is of use, unless it is built 'rugged and ready' from the get go. I prefer Nokta Makro's tones, modulation, reliability, strength, as well as their un-matched (European), after-sales back up. Patience, will hopefully smile!

    Ive owned a Ace 150 and EuroAce/350 i am now running a Deus ORX i was wishing the Apex would be wireless and would come with a new stem not use the AT Max stem and AT max buttons but saying that i do like the look of the Apex even with its faults and remember its still in the Ace range of detectors so no point in compairing it to the Max or PRO ...Now the Simplex what is with all the updates every month there is a new update thats bigger and better then the last one ....do the finds in the ground update ? ...and again with the Simplex why's it not wireless ? .....Ok you might say wireless wont work under water but really how many people take their detector swimming ...Cool video though mate and its food for thought as they say 👌😀👍

    I have the simplex ,apex and nox 800. The nox and Apex are my favorite and I grab the apex alot of the time for quick and easy park coin shooting . It's pretty great at discriminating bottle caps and crisp clear tones . Simplex digs too much junk. And the nox is amazing of course .

    Thinking about the Fisher f19 only because i hunt mainly residential, and seeing a lot of folks saying these are the best around medium to heavy EMI. How would you rate the Simplex in those same conditions i mentioned. I know there are deeper machines out there,but i am just seeking out a residential hunting machine. Any recommendations?. So far out of the machines i have run, the one keeper has been the Eurotech Pro in all metal mode,cause i noticed if heavier EMI i can take it down to sens 4 or 6 and still get 6 to 7 inches running stable.

    Now with the nox 700 900 minelab should discontinue all the lower cost minelabs except for the nox 600..and lower the price on that 150 bucks and put garrett out of buisiness ..finish them off by a 450 nox 600

    • @PaystreakSuperfreak
      @PaystreakSuperfreak  Рік тому

      Garrett does not need Minelab to put them out of business....Garrett will do that to itself. Continuing the 600 or 800 would cost Minelab dearly with lots of warranty repairs on broken coils and leaking control boxes.
