Car detailing could never be over saturated because you can never detail every car; there are simply too many vehicles that need to be detailed.. market yourself and have charisma. There's always competition in whatever you do... LITERALLY
Yes there are a lot of vehicles on this earth but no video ever tells the truth on the struggle to get business. Detailing is not a career that you'll have forever. As you get older, speed slows down and you won't be blasting through cars. And if you're blasting through multi cars a day, you're not detailing. Just valeting or cleaning them. Detailing is multi stage or single stage polishing and ceramic coatings, ppf etc.

You have to create your Google My Business listing first then it will give you a designated link. You can send that link to anyone via text message usually.
I have to comment because this is surely another video that is setting people up for failure and you are giving advice like you have 10 years of experience. i'll give it to you that instagram and tiktok can draw in customers but you making it seem like people can just get reviews, make videos and be a reputable business. You forget to mention that many of these guys have no business insurance, aren't even a registered business. And for those that are saying the market is not oversatured, it is oversaturated because of all of these tiktok detailers and fly by detailers. Also your main thumbnail picture shows you holding cash in your hand but i can guarantee you that none of yall are paying taxes when your just taking cash. You don’t have to get business insurance or an LLC the exact moment you open a detailing business.. This was advice for your first 1-2 months max worth of business. It’s an 8 minute video on basic advice to help you get started. And stop crying about “saturation.” Only people who run shitty businesses complain about that because they fail to be able to rise above the competition. I live 10 minutes from Houston Texas, 4th highest populated city in the United States. You have no clue how many detailers there are here and you’ll never here me once cry like a little baby about saturation. Get that shit outta here. Yea bro don’t do them for free. The only case would be if it’s a friend/family member and you owe them a favor, other than that, don’t do it for free. Give them a good discount but make sure they leave you a review
Amazing video very informative. I am saving this one and going by it step by step. However I have a question, there are many schools that offer auto detailing course ranging from $500 up to 2000$, do you recommend taking one of those trainings or do you think it's better to learn on my own?

I would say try your best if possible to not have everybody with the same last name. Just because if people see that they may speculate the reviews as being a bit biased. And yes you want to upload all the good pictures to your google profile.

I couldn’t give you an exact number. But I would say 20-30 dollars a day would be a good number. It’s an investment for sure but if you can learn how to run theme correctly it’s worth it for sure.

My detailer charges me 150 first time. Now I pay only 80 for monthly maintenance wash. And I still got cold email campaign form “pro” face palm. Tired to block all this “community”
