It has nothing to do with torque converter transmissions or dual-clutch and more to do with shift speed.
@@ARentz07 I understand how it works, it's very similar to how a NLS works in a manual car allowing you to have the throttle to be wide open in-between shifts cutting fuel to give the transmission time to shift quick and smoothly.
It's widely used in DSG transmission but the ZF is the only torque converted automatic transmission that I know of that does it also.

If I find one I’ll definitely drive it
That would be awesome!!
Your car is alright it’s a pretty good car
Newly subbed and just love your commentary! Thanks for the quality vids!
This thing is very clean. Beautiful car!
Supra is in a "thin" line between a Sports car and a SuperCar! Yes that's true, and i've driven it alot as well as other cars.
Just realized this custom supra steering is a nod to the Toyota FT1 concept steering wheel, noice ^.^
the crackles and bang are so satisfying to hear
It's a great Supra. People don't realize that in this case the existence of B58 and ZF8 was the question to Toyota, can you do a better 6L ... no, so buy that SOTA 6L. This combo is excellent and the best choice for Toyota Supra, despite all the whining.
Besides the wind and it being a bmw the 2020 Supra is an amazing car
The *Mk5* Toyota Supra is *sooo much better* than the old Mk4 supra.
Mk5 Z4*
@@DatFinnishGuy What an original comment, I've never seen this really actually funny joke before, amazing job 11/10
Those crackles and pops are just perfection. It's the perfect amount of obnoxiousness!
I want to upgrade my ‘22 GR Supra to this. I can’t wait!
Hey nice review man, really starting to love BMWs because of this
Don't forget mclaren f1
I love the new Supra so much…
So glad I've discovered your channel
My current dream car
I cannot wait until you put your hands on A Lexus LFA with that binaural audio it’s gonna sound sooooo good
These things are monsters. Downpipe, charge pipes, intake and a tune will cost you $2000 and you gain over 100whp and 150wtq
Looks like fun! Can't wait to review one :D
It’s small tho
haha @6:00 you passed that lexus SUV and shifted right next to him, as you can see in the mirror he got quite spooked as he kinda went to the shoulder of the road. Awesome supra. sounds fantastic
