Liked the rail train. Don’t see them much. Followed by a great variety of trains one after another. Hope you finally make it home. Thanks for the fine video Scott. Stay safe. ❤
Are you sure you are going to the house, LOL. Thanks for posting an awesome video. My friend from Micro, NC posted an awesome Coal train(@railfanning Jonah ). It was a 3 mile long coal train.also got by his Drone. 2 engines up from and 2 mid DPU's. Loaded coal train heading South on Main 1 CSX Line. Video is only 8 minutes long. And the train was flying. Have a great Tuesday, Scott.
Lmaoooo, Scott every time you say you leaving that just means we getting about 4 to 5 more trains lol. But anyway, my friend thank you for sticking it out in the cold weather and getting us those videos to watch on Tuesday and as always you stay safe out there and watch your back and we’ll see you on the next one.
Thanks Timmy! Yes, it was a really busy afternoon for sure. I haven`t seen action like that in Glendale in years. I wish it happened more often! Lol Have a great day my friend!
Great catches! Ive been there when all you are trying to do is leave and the trains just keep coming! Recently, it cost me an hour in traffic because the rails were so hot. Ive invested in electronic hand warmers made by Zippo (yes, THAT Zippo. The lighter company). Theyve been great this winter since its been so brutally cold.
Love to see that rail train, track getting worked on somewhere. Just keep threatening to go home, we love watching the trains that keep you there. Awesome as usual, enjoyed it a lot. Thanks Scott!
Thank you Scott. Another very good one. I think your catch phrase is going to be, "I'm heading to the house.". But we're glad it doesn't always work out that way. Thanks again.
6 containers , your persistence is appreciated , you had to be cold , what about battery & storage or memory space , get charged up so you can do it again
Another great selection thanks. Amazing the variety and amount of trains you caught that day. Rail train with EMD very interesting. Amazing length of that continuous rail.
I've been away from my iMac for a couple of weeks and not on my phone as much as I have in the past lately, so I haven't seen any railfan videos. Who do I go to when I decide to step back into the relalxing, yet exciting world of railfanning? Why my friend Scott a.k.a. 1960gambit, of course! What a great train to start my return! A rail train! Those things are impressive! I love how the trains just kept a' comin'!
The continuous rail train was interesting Scott do they load it by crane do you know? On VRF Glendale i noticed the temp was 32f the first time in days its not been below freezing., night time temp. Spring is coming Scott the days are getting longer now, hopefully start warming up soon! You got one busy day in Glendale you put the hours in Scott, much appreciated ❤😊👍
Thanks Carol! Yes, It is starting warm up. I just hope it keeps going it that direction! They have a machine that drags the rail onto the cars. I have never seen it done. They may be video of it here on UA-cam somewhere though. Have a great day!
You may be on to something there. I`ll have to watch and see if I catch them going East / West. I had never really noticed that before! Have a great day!
a machine they back up to it and it picks up the end of the rail and an arm slots into it;s row and it then pulls the rail up and shoves it down the cars!
They have a machine that drags the rail up onto the cars. I believe it attaches to the top of the rail cars and then drags them up. You might be able to find a video on here somewhere. I have never seen it done in person. I have video of them unloading new rail in Glendale though!
Why are there so many rusty cars in that grain train? They don't look very good to me. Maybe Mosaic (MOCX) are trying to replace theirs gradually, judging by the number of "brand new" cars they have in that train. It's a shame they use such small characters for the build date on the car sides, which means they are illegible on most videos taken at normal distances and thus I/we am/are unable to see just how new those cars are.
Yes, they do have some rusty ones out there for sure, but I bet the insides are not as bad as the outside. The build dates are hard for me to see from 20 feet away at times because they are not all in the same spot on the cars. I try to spot them as they pass, but on the older cars they are hard to see most of the time because of dirt etc.. The new cars are a lot easier for sure! Have a great weekend!
Good made video, mr 1960gambit. Yes, yes you sad so much: it is time for me to home. Can you say that to me without a smile on your face. Ofcourse not you missed than the breeding black horses on the tracks. Thx for this topvideo 🚆🚆🚆👌👍💪👍💪💪👍👌🚆🚆 in Glendale Ohio. Greet from Zandvoort the Netherlands.

Thanks Margie! Yes, I made it home, just a little later than I expected! Lol
SD-23 on the rail train
It sure was. You don`t see hose very often. I think the last rail train I got on this line had 2 of those on the lead!

You too, Bill! I`m hoping for some warmer weather today but it looks like I`ll be wearing my winter gear again!

Carol it's not a crane persay it;'s more a puller ramp that picks it up and places in the row slot and pushes it onto the end of the cars

you know Scott those yang ming boxes must come in through the gulf and only run north south i don;t see them going east west much!!!
