Very very good review! But I have a question: From specifications, Godox M1 outputs 1700 lux @ 1m and Phottix M200R only 1200 lux @ 0.5m. This should be a noticeable difference, so how that you measured 280 lux @ 1m and 1100 lux @ 0.5m for both?
yes exactly the same doubt. Phottix claim seems to be true. But Godox fails miserably. Because on paper, it is 1700 lux at 1 metre but here it shows 280! I have seen few more videos wherein many different brands claim different output but it is never in reality. I was going to purchase Godox M1 but now will not. But confused which to buy! whom to trust!
@@twocupsstudio I just tested a similar lamp (Hakutatz VL-72RGB) which is rated at 1480 lux at 0.5m and I've achieved these results: ~1300 lux at 0.5m ~ 300 lux at 1m (tested with Samsung Galaxy Note 9) Indeed, you cannot always trust all specifications until you test the product. I will do a review to that lamp in the near future for more details. Godox is still a very good option IMO, it should be a little more powerful than Hakutatz.
