China's significant drive to export domestically produced vehicles has led to a rising demand for roll-on/roll-off (ro-ro) ships, specially designed for transporting cars. Recent data from the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers indicates that the country exported approximately 2.8 million vehicles in the first half of the year, marking a more than 30 percent increase compared to 2023.
