I brought the MRA Vario touring screen for my bike in the hope it will stop the slight buffering and also give me abit more wind and rain protection!

CAMERAS
l use a gopro hero 10 on my lids with an insta 360 to record
me and my surroundings.
l also have a DJI Mini 2 to capture my drone footage in my
videos.

I originally bought a MRA tinted for my ZRX 1200 Kawa in Texas in around 2013. I loved the difference. Now I have one, same sort, on my F900XR TE. The difference over the sport version from BMW anyway, is night and day. Along with hand guards I was out riding today in fairly cool conditions East Midlands UK, didn't even need my warm undies today LOL. It's a very very good solution. I am 6 foot and a bit, tall upper body, works for me :).

The screen is very good!
1 down side, when its a hot day its does stop the wind blast that cools you down (basically does what its supposed to do lol)
Thanks for the review. I am really considering as the turbulence is real bad for me, however the only reason I haven't ordered yet is my concerns about the esthetics. Would you be able to post few more photos or videoing surrounding the bike?
Everybody that I know who has brought that screen has all said it makes a really good difference! I don’t think ul be disappointed with it.
Ive got a few vids coming up that may show the screen better so keep an eye out for them 👍

I absolutely hate the standard screen on mine! I’m nearly 6ft and in both positions it’s rubbish. I get smacked with wind like there no tomorrow. I’m considering this one myself or a puig? Good video again 👍
If you do get a mra screen, i find when its at its highest setting you get nothing at all but im 5,10 and a short body so may be different for me.
But like i said i cant see a great deal, will be ok on the motorway but not great for round town and normal roads.
@@lifeonmarshmoto I’m tempted by the puig, but it’s a bit of a monster. Had no issue at all on my sk1r. Which is a super naked 🤔. Must be the screen angle.
@@Wats1984 i used to have a z1000r and had no issues either, but it didnt have a screen so the wind used to just hit my chest, think having a screen changes the way the air moves and comes over the screen into your face more, just about findind the right screen that moves the air over ya i suppose 🤷♂️
I have the Puig Touring screen on my 2022 S1000XR, and I'd say it is just average in performance. At higher speeds, the Puig allows a lot of wind at the rider's shoulders and chest. I'm probably going to get the Ztechnik Vstream or this MRA Vario.

Hello i have the same screen on my gs750 i have a question, how do you move the wing on that screen ? I tried unscrewing some screws but didnt work it seems stuck
Hi bud.
Yea it is a little fiddly, but all I do is with my thumbs at the bottom and fingers at the top, pull toward you and up and it should move.
Very hard to do this on th go…it is possible, pulling one side at a time but wouldnt recommend it.
What height are you? on the fence whether the one you have or the newer one with the larger spoiler
I am 5ft 10, and dont have any issue with it.
To the point im changing it in the summer to a smaller screen as it does exactly what its supposed to so well, it literally stops all wind blast that cools you down so on a hot day your melting! Lol
@Life on Marsh I'm glad im also in the 5'10" club... Well, that solves it for me... will opt for the less expensive one , why spend more when the original does the job... Thanks for taking the time with providing me some details
Wonder what the smoked is like during dark nights.
To be honest, I sit high enough so im looking over the screen sonit doesn’t make any difference, plus it really not that smoked. If you wanted one you would be fine 👍🏻

Thats a fair comment.
Personally id say that because ive done a few vids on what bike it is (year model) I forget that new people will look at the vids, not just current subs or people that have checked out my other vids that already know what bike it is.

Fair comment but come on unless you know absolutely nothing about the S1000XR (in which case then why would you be looking screen reviews?) then it's pretty damn obvious it's a Gen 2 plus the screen packaging clearly says 2020-.

Im 5ft 10 with a 32” inseam bud.
