@@ttvbrxkens0ul Removing the speaker makes it so you can't play a sound to locate the AirTag. If you have an iPhone, it will still alert you on your phone that you are being tracked with an AirTag not registered as yours. You just can't play a sound to easily find it. There are ways to correct someone without being rude...but...maybe make sure you know the correct answer before doing so.

We own a lot of construction equipment worth tens of thousands. I had AirTags on things but was always worried that the thief could use the sound to know where they are hidden . After this video I went and took of the speakers off everything , perfectly hidden! .
This is what I need it for, they got my compressor and tools and I want to hide it in the cage of the compressor and I want to pull up on they ass with the police or with my own “tools”
The anti stalking feature renders the air tag completely useless,
If I have one hidden on my bike it will tell the thief that there is an airtag nearby,
So he will know it's been tracked ,he will find the tag and it's game over😢

Yes it works , I have several of them , of of course on smaller items would be harder to conceal, but on heavy machinery you would spend days trying to figure out where it is. I 100 percent recommend

Nah some of us use AirTags to track our vehicles in case they’re ever stolen. We don’t want the thieves to be able to find them easily.

I swear I got my bike back thanks to the airtag. It does make the alarm sounds but my air tag was hidden. I found my expensive bike next day. The rubber cut the steel where I park my bike. It takes a lot of minutes to cut this steel

There are many other places on the internet thieves can get this information. I am merely relaying it for entertainment and educational purposes. Apple has put protective measures in places to prevent this kind of stuff happening anyways.

🤔 To be honest the air tag is a pretty neat invention. And it will help people find their items or have a peace of mind just in case something might possibly come up missing or stolen
But just like many things it can be abused or used in an improper way.. but overall I think it's a pretty neat invention.👍

Good gravy... you think you could've screwed the plastic up a bit more?!! I did a number of tags this way but used a very small slotted mini-screwdriver. Barely left a mark. Looks like a bear was chewing on yours.... dang it, boy!

Did you know if you own an iPhone and someone puts an AirTag on you it will notify you you’re being tracked
It doesn’t work .
They'll still know they're being tracked if they have an iPhone just get a more reliable tracker than doesn't rely on a specific manufacturer and you can just access it on any device and doesn't broadcast its location to basically everyone
It will still Signal it’s presence to all the iPhones in the area via notification so not stealthy at all

People can either use this tool for good or evil whether you like it or not that feature makes it worthless for tracking down stolen items so this is valuable information for both people who dont want to lose extremely valuable items and for stalkers.

There are plenty of reasons to have it for tracking purposes, silently quit acting like it should be illegal or it’s only for stalking. I want to track my shit if it gets stolen without people knowing.

This is great! I’ve done this while tiles before, I’ve been hesitant to buy AirTags for that reason, if someone steals one of my things with an AirTag I don’t want them to know it’s air tagged, this still gives them the notification though doesn’t it?
I have AirTags in some of my son’s shoes and that’s great if he ever goes missing but if he’s ever kidnapped I don’t want them throwing his shoes away because they know they’re in there, does anyone know of any other trackers that don’t tell thieves you’re tracking them?

@@sherylF5610 my son is 3 so he loves shoes that light up when you stomp your feet so I’ve had several pairs of those for him, i also have a background in repairing electronics and soldering so when the batteries died on one of his pairs I took out the insole and saw a huge battery and light assembly in the sole of the shoe so I simply removed the electronics and hot glued in an AirTag, I’ll probably do this for the next couple years as he goes up in shoe sizes, there’s been an issue in the past where he’s gone missing so this was already on my mind.

This is actually useless. Fortunately AirTag, when distant from the coupled device for a long time, sends a message to the nearest phone (ie the stalked person’s) to warn about its presence.

The design of the speaker that is very easy to remove has a specific purpose from the manufacturer Apple. Apple is a large company that is very careful in releasing products that could be misused. By removing the speaker, it means we are consciously taking responsibility for using the device for whatever purpose, thus Apple is freed from accusations of creating a device that is misused.
Well the fact that it lets people know someone’s AirTag is traveling with them will let the burglar/thief know right away. What an idiotic feature
Anyone stupid enough to stalk someone with an AirTag will end up in jail. Apple had set these up so they will notify the person being stalked with either a notice on their phone or the AirTag will start beeping if certain things occur. And the AirTag is associated with the stalkers phone. Which will take law enforcement about 2 seconds to find out who they are.
Noooo I’m reporting this video, not good I know 2 Yong lads who have been tracked and only found the tag when playing a sound don’t show people this this is wrong.
These sound smart but they are actually pretty bad. Alot of violent criminals like rapists and armed robbers and murders are sticking air tags to car to track they’re prey so they know there movements and patterns so they have a better chance of finding a weak spot to make easier to get away with there crime.
If you know where the 3 tabs are you don’t have to glue it together. You can just pop the tabs. There are UA-cam videos that will show you where they are.
