One of the issues I noticed is that the AI’s stamina doesn’t deplete equally the AI should not be at 100% stamina in the ninth round……. That’s definitely an issue and they need to fix 93 Roy Jones he’s way too slow…… in the career mode could be a little more detailed, but it’s OK for now….. hopefully they will update these things. I already have the game. I’m just saying this for people who haven’t gotten it yet.!

There is a slider for stamina. Defaut it’s at 1.0 but I increased it to 2.0 and it’s been great. Stamina depleted as it should in later rounds. Not sure if it will work online tho

Its horrendous... surely its easy to code stamina to damage ratio... 4 years and they cant do that... I got knocked out online by a player when he was rocked and had no stamina
Perfect video to explain how I feel about this experience to date. Versus AI is the chess match purists come for and it's been a joy to figure out each opponent in career mode based on their style, traits and in fight execution.
The online and local experience with power punch spamming is horrendous though.
The best fix is for SCI to remove the power punch modifier completely.

It is the last truly SIM fight experience. Perfect balance of striking, shot management, distance control and defensive skill. That's the level of brilliance I want in my boxing experience.

They definitely need to fix this asap! Stamina is even out of wack offline too. CPU fighters stamina doesn't drain at the same rate as human fighters. I can barely throw any punches, yet my stamina will drain. On the flip side, the CPU can throw punches all round & bareIy lose stamina. It's my biggest issue with the game so far.
It was the same way in the beta. Lazy developers sold us a half backed broken game at full price. We got battlefield 2042’d. 🤷🏻♂️

Also 30 bucks isn't a full price game, nor is Undisputed even close to that bad. It's a small studio, and they'll get it fixed in due time.
How many punches do you throw in comparison to the AI? I throw a lot more punches especially power shots so while I agree about the difference, I also understand I throw a lot more than the AI

Same with all games. Gamers just find whatever exploits or flaws there are in the games design and use that. All pvp experiences are terrible nowadays. Won't ever change back either. RIP pvp gaming for anyone that doesn't just wanna exploit constantly

I'd say the #1 way to fix this is to make wiffed power shots drain much more stamina (as you said) and also make consecutive power punches thrown which causes stamina bar to deplete completely take a few seconds longer to start to replenish. Also, allow counter punches that disturb the power punch animations: a well timed left hook, a right cross, or a combination for example. Allow power punches to be more risky by allowing them to be highly punishable. Skill should be the determining factor in winning. Power punches should be properly set up, just like in actual boxing. Everything to make this game great is there within the game. It's all about proper implementation.
Totally agree with you on this, maybe you should contact the Devs and tell them.
(Body) punches also need to have a more significant effect on Stamina. I've gone rounds where I've landed a lot to the body, and it appears that my stamina was drained more for 'throwing' them than my opponent's stamina was impacted from 'receiving' them.
And I agree with you on how regular punches need to be more impacful -- Having sparred before, trust me, even jabs are to be avoided if one can help it because they don't feel good, and they're a disruption if they're landing. Once they fix this stuff, the spammers are going to have bruised egos when they find out their limited strategies gave them a false reality of boxing.
1. Punch mechanics and animations still look a bit off. The hooks appear to just be like whifting punches and the uppercuts don’t have any snap or power to them when it’s thrown.
2. In general the punches need more Snap to them, especially the uppercuts. I can’t imagine a guy like Gervonta Davis throwing his uppercut from hell like he does in real life, but in the game the uppercut looks extremely weak, and generic looking, they don’t bend their knees nor shift their bodies to the side the uppercut is being thrown.
3. The boxer movements feels somewhat a delay at times and just not smoothly and flowing
4. Combinations at times seems like they don’t register all the punches I’m attempting to throw. For example if I attempt to throw a 3 punch combination, the game will sometimes only register that I threw 2 punches and there is a delay in between each punch, which makes it feel like the punches don’t properly flow together.
5. When attempting to slip punches, most of the time you still get hit.
6. adjust or change the sound of punches connecting so that they sound more realistic. Maybe you should take Audio or sounds from actual punches in real life boxing fights and insert them in the game so we can have the same sound.
7. Boxers should be able to properly cut the ring off to stop movement to trap them into exchanges.
8. bodyshots should slow down opponents movements, speed, and stamina over time
9. A good strong jab should be able to stop opponents from throwing a shot or combination / flush jabs should make a boxer/opponent have to reset and disrupt their movement
10. Why are created players Capped at a 79/80 Overall
11. There should be more customization with boxers and their attire. We should be able to change the color of our gloves, and trunks and shoes to our own preference just like in Fight Night Champion
12. Add Real Venues MGM, Madison Square Garden, T Mobile arena Ect.
Hopefully the game developer gets to see this video you posted. This shit is completely unacceptable. How could they allow someone to be able to throw 500 continues power punches with no repercussions? What did a 5 year old make this game ? And i love the game offline but this needs to be fixed asap
Yes, Ricky I tried to work on this by myself yesterday and got so frustrated with the online that I just had to shut it off, I’ll try again tonight to see if it gets any better

As my first time today playing this I learned that the regular punches is for points the power punches is for the knockouts
This is worst online fighting game I’ve ever played in my life. Rewarding players that play like drunken fools. This is more of a helicopter simulator than a boxing simulator right now. I hope they fix the power punching and stamina. As it stands now I’m not going to play online again.

I purchased through game store. Wanted to support, but it’s not ready yet. I requested a refund and received it. Can’t part with 85 dollars for this right now. I’ll repurchase down the road once I can actually throw punches and move without lag.

Outside boxing is impossible, somehow power hooks spams are faster and have faster recharge time than the most basic quick jab. Normal punches literally do nothing, whole fight is just holding R1 and spamming rear hook

Another big problem is, sometimes when you lean back and someone hits you through the guard, your boxers just freezes in place for 3 seconds unable to do a thing I hate that glitch
I played last night... Alot of glitches.. My arms would stretch about twice as long as normal.. At one point my fighter turned his back and started walking towards the corner.. And also you can't throw any punch off the block besides the Jab and straight.. alot fix work needs to be done.. Graphics and Cuts are top notch.

It be good to have a league of fighters just like us that want to fight not slugg the. Love the fact we got a new boxing game. I have been playing since early access. While they have made some great improvements, power punching needs to be reduced in damage effects. I like how they sped up power punches to be more impactful with fluidity, but we don’t want it to take away from the boxing purity they are going for. These power punches are kind of giving me Fight Night Round 2 vibes. As they learned in Fight Night Round 3, they had to balance those out so people could rely on good times regular punches again.

Power punches should do the same amount of damage they should just burn way more stamina and the vulnerability should be increased dramatically so that you have to pick your power shots and set them up knowing that if you miss and get countered it's going to be bad.
I have the same problem with the Power Punch Browler. It's not nice to fight online. Normally the Punches make slower when you make to many Power Punches. Great video and a great fight from you👍

Absolutely love this game but online definitely needs fixing, as you mentioned the over use of the power punches is ridiculous, and when i play often when i have my guard up my fighter will freeze and i get cracked quite a few times, it definitely spoils it, but i still love it anyways
The get up game is kinda awkward, should add a mini game for between rounds for cuts an damage, Kenny Bayless should not be refereeing every fight

I’ve fought 3 players with the power pellet punch, body shots is key . And staying in front of them close,and just guard up using counters. Easier said than done
Every game in multiplayer is all about meta, i.e. the best fighter, car, gun, weapon, etc. In ufc 5, i like using shogun, and people choose jones all the time...
But yeah man, for people who are brawlers, i don't want to nerf their style, but some fine tuning is for sure required. FN Champions had a good setup regarding physics and the balance.

I love the game offline too. I wish it had more depth and modes , ref , anything to make the gameplay experience more realistic I’m all for. But I love it so far offline.

Easy to defend. Just lean back while blocking and time up a move counter combo. Also get off the line and double tap the left analog up or down to move side to side.

I think by just making power punches use a LOT more stamina would fix everything. So that you can only throw so many in a fight. It's definitely an issue the way it is, makes online not fun at all imo. If they just wore down a lot faster by throwing power shots it would all be fine, then they could only use them occasionally. Just my thought, but also increasing power of regular punches some could help too.

I remember the cheese even back on FN round 3, it was fun but equally as frustrating. People will just do this as long as it works until it doesnt and they start losing then they just disconnect, waste of time
Stay on the outside, count their punches until they get tired. Go in with power and get out quick. It’s boxing. Hit and don’t get hit. Once they get hit they’ll fall too

@@TrevTheTyrant thanks for the comment. I’ve watched many videos from different people playing the game online. The successful ones did what I mentioned above. They also use smaller weight classes where there is actual boxing and power punches aren’t as powerful, just like in real life. He needs to go into smaller weight classes if he wants to box.
This method worked for me during the pc early access but NOW hell no.😂 it’s like they took the skill aspect of the game to appease the casuals that wanna play fight night with the haymakers which pisses me off because it’s always the casuals that ruin the experience of any game😂You can’t box in this game with out falling into spamming power punches to stay alive.

Completely agree with ya mate it needs nerfing me and me pal have played this on pc and this stamina and constant power shots seems to have came in on the console release. Only chance u have is either be first with the power shots or wait and try counter after they've thrown multiple but like u say the tracking online isn't great, I got hit earlier from 5ft away with 3 straights in a row no way near me but then constant power shots. Hopefully it gets sorted cos it's hell of a game the ai is so good.
Hey Ricky, I really hope they fix the power glitches in this game. That said, I think their potential is limited by their target audience. Just like UFC 4 and 5, they have to make the game more accessible for kids and beginners to maintain a future audience. It’s similar to how WWE went PG-13 for a while to appeal to a younger crowd, and now they’re transitioning as those kids grow up. Essentially, it’s about refreshing the audience as the older one ages out of gaming.
These companies do so much research and know what they are doing. I’m sure they were well aware of power punches from the years of development.
That said with enough noise they should do something. Keep at it making folks aware. I’m sure most would agree.
They want an authentic boxing game so they will fix these issues
Normal punches are also about the accumulation of damage over time.
They might have to delay crossplay until they fix the internet/ tech stuff along with delay from what ive seen in the videos online. I won't know until i get on tonight.

I understand you have your preferences, however there are many styles in the sport of boxing. IF the game wanted a more sim style, they would also make the punching come out more fluid in combos...people are throwing single powers because the game makes it easier to throw singles than combos.
You know though, they could of easily fixed this by releasing a "proto full release" version for the pc community to test out like a couple of months ago. The more I think about it, I can't believe they left this sh*t in the game.
I seen too many videos and reddit posts I have decided not to buy it tomorrow now. For almost a AAA price I cannot warrant to cost just yet.
I'll give it a few weeks to see how the devs react.

I'm waiting for a few patches before I buy this game. I wanna get it, but it's clearly not a finished product yet
I like to OUTBOX so for me the TRACKING for the straight punches is lacking.. particularly the straight to the body & straight right up top .. the jab could use just a little work.
Also, if you set up the HOOK with a couple jabs the TRACKING for the hook should be accurate . If you just out here spamming hooks the tracking should be low .. jabs should be used to make the other punches more ACCURATE TRACK WISE ..
POWERHOOK spamming could easily be fixed if power hooks could be punished with a consistent HEAD MOVEMENT system...
If I throw 2-3 POWERHOOKS back to back there should be a reliable HEAD MOVEMENT SYSTEM that lets you PUNISH my spamming with ease. That fixes that problem ..
There's certain boxing laws/mechanics that aren't in place that makes this game the way it is ..

the major issues for me
- after major improvements, gameplay looks better but the punches still look clunky and the flow of the gameplay isnt really that smooth
- the game doesnt have Mike Tyson, Holyfield, Foreman, AJ, Tank, Pacquiao and Inoue
- character customization isnt really that deep, i have seen so few CAFs that look accurate
But For the regular punches I could do better cuz it your right it doesn’t matter about power all the time it’s about timing and skill even Ali said that

Guys online is always going to be hard for non competitive players because you are being matched with people who can really play sometimes
Man Ricky if you having problems with this game, imma not play at all 😂 Thought it was just me being bad as hell, but if you got issues and I've been watching since UFC 2 I know it has to be the game lol. So much input lag too it's crazy, I wish it was fluid like UFC 2 or Fight NIght, can't even throw combos in time because of the lag you have to throw them and wait and hope for them to land and your opponent doesn't move. Idk maybe just me.

First match online I was Tyson Fury faced Wilder lasted 1 round I thrown 16 punches landed 7 he thrown 21 punches all power punches laned 17 Ko'd me never seen Wilders Right hand move so fast

With this level of online experience, everything you learned about boxing technique is been tossed out the window! The game developers really half-assed it this time. I see punches "landing" on you, although the opponent really only connected with thin air. Then, I see them make your range with a hook = like 1 inch. It is CPU cheating to the max.

It's either they are spamming the hell out of the power punches, or they are quitting. 😂😂😂 I have had about 7 fights that were actually great. With regular punching and timed power punches.

Fight night is the same shit with online players spamming haymakers and scoring knockdowns alone off that
But In Fight Night you can get them to miss and tire out. By round 4 they are done

I really don't want to pay £65 for the WBC edition without playing the game. Why can't they let you have 1 fight as a demo? I feel a lot of people are holding back from buying the game at the moment.
I have seen a lot of Wilder players just swinging power punches forever and despite being out-boxed they always seem to get the KO both online and offline.
I can't be going back to seeing green abominations body spamming and side step uppercutting their way to cheap wins like in FN Champion.
When you master the AI in Fight Night and you can't get a decent opponent online, it really kills the fun. I hope the devs are quick to roll out bug fixes and sort exploits otherwise I can't justify the full price.

1.regular punches need to be calibrated especially the straight punch
2.too hard to finish a guy that is stunned , hell the defense is better stunned
3.power punches def need to cost more for missing and or block
4. Judges always seem to agree with each other disagree a bit...also need more creative options and more commentary
5.upowrcut need to look a tad bit more dramatic with more leaning and a decent sound...tweak these please steelcity
Iv only lost 3 times out of 13 and i only lost to wilder users and what i learned in my recent win against wilder is to lean back as he does a power shot cus their not as fast as a regular shot and to mainly use tyson fury for that height and reach advantage against players like wilder users and to counter attack

Anyone had the Glitch yet where a round ended 0:00 but fight carried on will not go to next round you got to KO your opposition or they got do same to you that's in offline I experienced that
I just get a message from undisputed telling me that i can't keep quit from online matches.. because they Will put me i'm a less important machmaking to play... I never quit a Match.... 🙄🙄🙄 They just in some moment of the fight they trow the towel and i get the w .... But i don't do shit... Does someone have the same issue i'm on Xbox series X ??

With the game being in this condition, it’s gonna be a slug fest online instead of a boxing match. Absolutely the power punches should be draining stamina hit or miss to stop people from spamming power punches I was expecting a game if you wanted to use the sweet science or if you wanted to stalk and counter to land power punches you could from what I’m seeing that isn’t the case

U need to throw 1 punch dodge and counter , if you counter a power punch you will do a lot of damage. You didn't counter at all
