FYI.. although this video is old I would advise to not soak in hot water but cold water. Stains actually set in hot water. Leather might shrink too!

Any leather conditioner will work. I use wipes or even car interior leather conditioner

You can fix the edges with “edge Kote” it is used to create a nice clean finish to raw edges.
