For years I have complained about EGO/Chervon not having a smaller battery platform. All the while being oblivious to Chervon's Skil lineup. I will now happily eat my words! What a fantastic looking selection of outdoor power equipment! I have several thousand dollars worth EGO tools; and can see myself going down a whole 'nuther rabbit hole. Excellent overview of all these tools. Nice job!
I am really loving my Skill yard tools. I have the 40v power head trimmer, blower, hedge trimmer and I am looking at the pole saw now. Thanks for the review and video brother.
Man, you along with every other tool reviewer is costing money...LOL. Being serious, you helped me make up my mind between the telescoping and non-telescoping pruning saw. I went with your favorite and just ordered it from Amazon. On sale for $99. Anxious to receive it and try it out. Got hit a last week with a non-renewal due to branch overhang from my insurance and now I am going to be making sure it gets done. Got the 40v chainsaw on sale as well and both will be my go-tos. Still have my Ryobi pole saw that is working awesome but once it gives out and not in warranty, it will get replaced by the Skil polesaw. Thanks. Keep up the good work... now I just need to get Skil to send me free tools...LOL
Man, Mikey, that's some good stuff. Always a great review of tools on Projects For All. Skil has, certainly, come along way. You're going to get lot done out there this year, for sure. 👍
If you want to give those tools a serious workout, I have a full acre that could use few dozen trees felled, with many smaller ones hacked up. Think about it - all the beer you can drink. There's a kid-friendly winery 2 miles down the road for the wives and kids to hang out at. But seriously, that non-telescoping mini chainsaw kicks butt!
LOL!! You’d be amazed at how much beer I can drink! I’ll be beating the hell out of these tools all summer. Might do a recap next year to see how they all did. Thanks for watching Jeff!
Thanks! This whole line of outdoor tools is very impressive IMO. If you saw the shot of my yard you know I’m going to use these until showing some wear! Thanks for watching Dodge!
Skill has definitely step it up... wonder if they will come out with a proper miter saw soon..... speaking of miter saws, is the Hercules still on thr list to review soon? Thanks!
I would like to see who makes the best edger, and is it gas or electric? string or blades? Electric is not the best application in lawn care imo. The lawn care market is like the wild west, alot of claims and very little substance, and everything is (batteries/plastics, etc), made to fail sooner than later! I would also like to see stories about mfr's who honor or dont honor their warranties, Not the stores, but the manufactures!.. Take care Mike!
Greenworks Commercial and Stihl are pretty good at their battery stuff. I started with a Husqvarna 325ilk and since then most of my stuff is battery powered
Honestly both are good for the price in my opinion. I own Ryobi’s 40v push mower, blower and large hedge trimmer. My only complaint is the mower blade needed to be sharped out of the box and produces zero lift for picking up leaves. I also have the 18v single line string trimmer which is also excellent. For the time being I’ll be sticking with all Skil to keep testing. Thanks for watching!
You said ambidex-tree-ous multiple times. I'll assume it was an intended pun and I'll still give you your thumbs-up, but try not to do it in the future-it makes me cringe! For small tree work, I've been using my reciprocating saw, and I do admit to having bent a few blades.
Yep I’d be using my M18 Sawzall and M12 Hacksaw usually for light pruning usually. These chainsaws require less effort to cut. Reciprocating saws require you to hold the branches tight which gets tiring with a lot of use. Cutting with these saws is effortless. Thanks for watching!

These will be the most used in the near future tools I’ve ever reviewed to date Meat. Thanks for watching Sir!

Skil is the outdoor company to beat

Great review Mike. Really liking this new SKIL Line. Definitely holding their own against Milwaukee and DeWalt. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

It already has a very decent sliding miter saw.
