- It is the tradition every winter to do a big tidying cleaning and decor Update in the studio. This winter I completed a new curtain, reorganized frames and boards around the shelves above the desk...You will also see the Ibex dancer which is already on her way to her new home more characters will be added to the shop in february.

You're welcome, I love them to :))) It's always fun to add a little something new to our space like a new piece of furniture or decor, it's like our space is all new:.
If you buy a clothes steamer...for the curtains...you dont need an iron. Also the steamer can get out any smells that might linger. I used to be a smoker and the steamer helped a lot:)

Lovely to see your magnificent studio! Your pin boards are so pretty with the ribbons, so much nicer than a plain board filled with images. Do you ever feel sad to say good bye to your sculptures? The Ibex dancer is so exquisite I would feel I wanted to look at it longer and marvel at its beauty! What a lucky person who purchased it! Can't wait to see your Wolf finished. @@Merveillesenpapier I think that is amazing! I like to keep my work to see what worked and what didn't so I use it to learn from, or if its part of a series until the series is complete. I love hearing how you divest yourself of attachment.

That was a big job, the sewing of the curtains. So much fabric and you have not sew a lot before. It is looking beautiful. The Ibex dancer and the ballerina are amazing. I see you have a pen and ink. I learned to write (58 years ago) with a pen like that. You write much better then I did. :+) I have my fountainpen (vulpen in Dutch) and I write with it, since I let it repaired a few months ago. It looks so much better when you write with real ink. Even your shopinglist. Have a nice weekend.

What a Beautiful job you did on your art studio! The new curtain fabric is beautiful and fits in Perfectly with your other things.
I love the inspiration board that you made, it gives me ideas for one of my own.
There's nothing better than giving your art tools a good cleaning! I sometimes use a small amount of furniture wax or polish to help re-moisturize the wooden handles and provide them with a soft sheen.
I'm happy that this video showed up on my phone!

Thank you Tom, glad it it gave you some ideas! That's a good suggestion too, maybe I will do that next time , this weekend I'm about to make my own home made wax for the first time and use it and maybe I will use it on the tools too!

Ooooh what a lovely studio tour. Yes, making our space beautiful makes the time spend there much more productive and precious doesn't it?! Everything has found it's exact place and you created such beauty. Your sketch books are gorgeous. How inviting they look them to open and start your sketch ideas. Those drapes are so beautiful and match the room perfectly. I like the table/desk in that spot near that window, the light streaming in as it does is amazing to sit and create. And yes Choclette needs that perfect spot too. The gallery wall looks perfect above your desk area too. Your paper creations are so exquisite and beautiful! Thanks for such a lovely tour.

Your new curtains are lovely. I believe that what you call “pell mell” in the video we refer to as “inspiration boards” in the US. I think I prefer pell mell. Fabulous to see what is happening in the workshop and hear about upcoming projects. Be well (and creative!), Misti
It is probably the equivalent, pêle-mêle is an enjoyable mess, in the past centuries in the ones they were doing, there was no vision behind it at all that's why I wasn't sure it would be called this way , but mine are a bit more intentional , Thank you Misti glad you enjoyed it, I sure will wish you the same in your studio!

Dear Laetitia, again a most inspiring video❣️the ceiling in my studio has a lot of water damage, so when that is repaired then it will be time to redo the whole area. I adore all of the treasures you have on display and all having a pertinent reason for them. Have you ever considered publishing one of your journals? c'est différent car elle permet de faire des plein et déliés qu'on ne peut pas faire avec un stylo-plume classique.
