    Hey I just found your channel and it’s super helpful! I was just wondering if you’ve done a video discussing how you realised you were enby and not a trans guy cause that’s what I’m struggling with atm

      I don't think I've ever talked about that but I will add it to my list! Thank you!

    I’m always so amazed with non-binary people who pass. Like, if I met you, I’d use they/them pronouns. It’s not often that I do that, usually I make assumptions. I’m a trans guy btw, if it matters.
    Also your results look awesome! I got keyhole top surgery 4 weeks ago, but your kind of surgery has the benefit of nipple placement and stuff. Your scars healed very well.

    I'm getting top surgery in a little over a month, and I just keep watching your top surgery videos over and over. They're really informative and help me feel a little less anxious. Thanks so much :) ps: you look awesome!

    Thanks for the positive vibes! I'm not sure what I want to do for my transition (I'm also non-binary), but top surgery is on my to do list😊😊. I'm really glad I get to watch your videos!

    Seeing your videos has been pretty helpful for me. I'm a 21 year old lesbian and very much androgynous. I prefer they/them pronouns but I honestly dont care what pronouns people use. Not sure if theres a "label" for that. I also really wanna get top surgery. I have always wanted a flat chest. I often cant even stand to look in mirrors when Im shirtless. but Im scared to even ask people their opinions on it.
    But I keep all this stuff to my online profiles and dont mention it to my family. The only person I kinda talk about some of it with is my mom. But even then, I say "breast reduction", not top surgery or double mastectomy.
    My younger brother is actually ftm transgender but any time I mention anything like this stuff around him, he gets mad or shows a general distaste. When I got my first binder in the mail, I was so happy and excited to wear it but he kept giving me disappointed looks and talking to his bf on the phone about me. Really ruined that day for me a bit. I dont understand his disapproval for these things since he, himself is trans and I fully support him. I'm not trans, but I want a flat chest and all that.
    Is there something wrong with me lol
    Whats your opinion on it? Im not really sure what to do.
    Would it be wrong for me to get the surgery without telling anyone?

      It wouldn't be "wrong", as you don't owe information about your body to anyone. However, for your own sake it might be a good idea to examine why you don't want to tell anyone and what you can do about those things. Your brother, for example, is being unfair to you. There may be reasons he's acting this way that you could talk through with him. Maybe he's feeling protective of his own identity and sees your desire for a flat chest as somehow encroaching upon that, but in reality you have a lot in common that you could share together if he would let you! I recommend trying to communicate your feelings with him and asking him his so you can hopefully work through it together. But if not - he is not in charge of you or your body so you don't need his approval (even as a trans person). If you would feel happier and more aligned with your body with a flat chest, then that's all that should matter.
      The other, more practical thing to keep in mind is if you have surgery, it would be very helpful to have someone help care for you especially the first week or two. So if that can't be your family then hopefully you can find someone to confide in who can be there for you during your recovery. Good luck ❤️

    Looks amazing! If you haven't done already a video about recovery and scar care? I'm having top surgery 3/18/2021 so excited but nervous about recovery :/

    • @CelesteM
      @CelesteM  3 роки тому +3

      I have lotttts of videos about recovery! I never made one specifically about scar care but talked about it in quite a few. Congrats on having your date scheduled! Everyone's recovery is different but most likely yours will not be as bad as you fear! And it's 100% worth it 😊

    What scar care have you done?

      For about the first 9 months post op, I massaged with rosehip seed oil and used Mepitac tape over my incision lines.

    Do you know if he left tissue/ did contouring or is that muscle? do you have any sensation in ur grafts?

    • @CelesteM
      @CelesteM  Рік тому

      He left a little bit of tissue for a more natural look, but there is muscle underneath that became more visible after the surgery (and I have increased it since by working out). I do have sensation in the grafts, not the same level of sensitivity I had before and it's not really an "erotic" feeling. It basically feels similar to touching the rest of the regular skin around it.

    Do people still gender you as she/ her. I know I wouldn’t!
