    I’m 7 months on T, am already within the male range, and didn’t even know about the iron deficiency, thanks for the heads up!

    I'm non-binary, on T, and have had top surgery... I shave my underarms too! And I shave my face.

    I'm agender and 10 months on low dose T and I'm just now getting brave enough to stop wearing knee high socks with shorts to hide my hairy legs lol.

    The mask has made it more likely for me to be read as male. Being pre T that's freaking awesome. Tho if I open my mouth it makes the illusion fall apart then they look uncomfortable and say sorry ma'am. Ah I hate my voice in those times.

    Thank you so much for these vids. I'm about 10 months on T and thinking about pausing/lowering my dose. You look great !!

    Just got my ferritin checked for my pre testosterone blood test, and the reference range was 5-250, and I'm at 19. Nurse practitioner said that it was low but still within the range, but I definitely haven't trusted that. Thanks for the group, I'll try that and ask her to check again for a later blood test to see if it's helped.

    Thank you for the comment about ferritin! I had my iron and ferritin levels checked when I complained to a doctor about fatigue, but they said it was fine and the reference range they provided went down to something like 2 micrograms per litre so I didn't realize that maybe 25 is too low. I will look into this further!

    Your eyebrows and the shape of your hairline have changed too :) they look great! I remember you saying that you hated your hairline before, so I hope you enjoy that now. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that T gives me great eyebrows like yours

      I wish both of those were from T but they're not! I dye my eyebrows and shave my hairline 😊 I think it's possible my hairline *has* changed slightly but I can't really be sure without growing it out which I don't want to do.

    Hello! I recently found your channel. I am transmasc and I’ve been on T for over 1 year. I wanted to ask if you’ve made any videos on scalp hair, specifically loss or growth. Thanks!

    Sorry if you have already specified this in this video or another, but I was wondering what has been your T doseage throughout your transition journey?

    • @CelesteM
      @CelesteM  3 роки тому +1

      It has varied a lot! I started at 25mg/week and at one point was briefly at 100mg/week, and it's been up and down between those two. I'm now around 60-65mg on average.

    I am sorry 2 hear about ur anemia. Most women have low hemoglobin cz of their flow of menstrual cycles if you have both sexes birth control works to protect you from blood loss like it works for most women . I" m new to this LGBTQAI+ spectrum . I took many notes on various genders mentioned under the umbrella. However I do not understand one thing . Even lets say a man transforms to a woman surgically can he be given pills like hormones 2 menstruate like a woman? what if someone has both sexes so both male & female organs is this person able to menstruate or ejaculate or both ? ( r those transgenders or transexuals or hermaphrodites or all of the above?)

    • @CelesteM
      @CelesteM  2 роки тому

      Hi, I commend your curiosity! Hormones alone cannot cause someone to menstruate. The person would have to have a uterus, which is not something that has bee successfully transplanted in a trans woman up to this point, as far as I know. Hormones can, however, cause symptoms that feel similar to those that occur throughout the menstrual cycle (aside from the shedding of the uterine lining, of course).
      As far as people with both "male" and "female" organs, that would fall under the category of intersex (hermaphrodite is an outdated term and usually seen as pejorative, so it's best to avoid). Not all intersex people have those organs; there are many different intersex conditions, some of which go undetected for many years if not forever. As to the functionality of their various organs, that depends on the condition and perhaps the person (I am not intersex so I can't speak in too much detail about that). Intersex people, like anyone, may or many not be transgender.
      Just as an aside, as you're learning: generally, when speaking about transgender people, you don't say a man "transforms to a woman" (or vice versa) - trans women are women regardless of whether they have transitioned in any way. Likewise, trans men were always male and nonbinary people were always nonbinary. And because nonbinary people (like me!) exist, it's best not to say "both genders" (as there are more than two) or, because intersex people exist, "both sexes". I hope that helps!

      @@CelesteM Thanks u don't eve know me but you know I am curious. Thanks by the way, for the compliment & ur concern to write to me in great detail. Now I understand about the transgender female but not so much about the intersex. First I might get mixed up but what if a transgender female cannot menstruate can she or the intersex person have male semen?
      Now lets say its reversed someone is assigned female but has male organ can it be the same as a man meaning that she can have an accurate size of a male organ in other words can this person penetrate a woman(have intercourse) ? Can such person get a female pregnant? Do you know?
