OBOTE HOSTS AFRICAN LEADERS - 12 DECEMBER, 1967

In 1967 Uganda hosted 11 African leaders to a conference that was aimed at greater regional cooperation. To receive them was President MIlton Obote and his wife Miria.
OwanaPaedia hails fallen TV pioneers Sadik Akmal, Francis Kamutera and Samuel Bosa who captured this history and we salute President YK Museveni for awarding them medals of distinction, even if posthumously for most.
