I first met Mike in 1995 in his hometown of Buffalo, NY. I too am from Buffalo/Western NY. I've been able to meet Mike twice before he finally made the move to Europe, and he remembered me! He was ALWAYS a great guy when I've met him. Down to earth, blue collar work ethic and very nice in person. I've followed his career since 1994. If you get the chance to see him or meet him...do it! fantastic drummer, gracious with his time, hardest working guy in music!
I first met him in 82 when he worked at Zon Guitars in Cheektowaga.
I have to agree with everything you said!! And we see that you are allways working to be even better.. You are always improving, adapting, growing, changing, evoluting.. You are truly an inspiration!! You have pull everything together nicely and yes, you are reaching all kinds of people, from classical to metal.. And we fell you passion and power in every song.. You are an amazing drummer, a great performer and seems to be a great guy too... And now you reached that level were you can do whatever you want 😎 and we are watching and loving it 🤩 Ty.

I never really liked his style of playing, but I do have to admit that I sympathize a lot with everything he said and his general attitude. Seems like a really cool, intelligent guy.

Great outlook on it.. I get the age thing, "how much longer can I do it" ?? I'm 58, and in IT over 20 years .. and from using a mouse so so long, with the scroll wheel, I'm starting to get carpel tunnel type of thing going up my right index finger as I play. But plow on .. also, I love your comedy playing with the orchestra... EPIC :P

A lot of drumming is technically incredible, especially guys in Death Metal like Spencer Prewitt and Lord Marco ,I really love the gifted Travis Orbin Periphery playthroughs, some how he's technically other worldly but, so groovy .

Guy is a beast and just a real down to earth guy He’s funny and plays hard I totally agree what he was saying about the drums and drummers today sounding alike Gotta have ur own personality But like he said it’s good to go with the new sound that’s out today Don’t have to love it just maybe have fun with it like he does Great video !!!
