I have 3 cat babies! An orange tabby, his black tabby sister (they do have stripe under the sun or a light 😊) and a tuxedo. They're all unique and adorable. Cats are amazing, I agree!

We have had 7 cats over our 44 year marriage and they all lived over 13 years…two brothers lived 15 and the other 19 years! So depressed to have to ‘let them go’ because of seriously declining health. Our present two beauties are 9 years and four years. The nine year old was thrown out of car on the highway in a bag with four other kittens at about 4 weeks old. The driver behind stopped his car and got out to see what was in the bag and saved them all. We got one of the kittens four weeks later and she is nine now. (How could anyone do that???)
Our other beauty is a male who we got at seven weeks and he was starving just fur and bones when we got him. He has grown into a gorgeous beauty and we love them both soooo much. Cats are one of the most beautiful creatures in the world.

I have 3 cats. They are 10 years old this month. They are all from the same litter. I went with the intention of getting 2 kittens from this lady but that would have left one kitten without a home. Couldn't let that happen thus I have 3 cats. 2 of the cats are malesAnd the third which is the rent of the letter is a female. All are neutered of course. These cats are my babies. I love them and without them I don't think I would get out of bed at all. They all have distinct personalities And I know that they love me. I think they have tape worms because they constantly want to eat. LOL. I spend more money on their food and litter than I do on my own necessities. But that is okay. I am going to be so heartbroken when one of them dies as I am every time I lose a pet, Which has been meaning over my 72 years. Thankfully, My pets have always lived long lives. I love dogs too but I had to give my granddaughter my Pitt terrier because she was just getting too much for me to handle. Such a strong dog. But she was the biggest baby. She slept with me every night. She would snuggle her back up against my back and go to sleep. I love horses too but that is just out of the question for me.
Im 25 and just got a cat, first pet ever. It was really lovely to read your comment and see someone else for whom their pet(s) act as a motivator to get out of bed. Been kinda struggling financially and worried about the future with the state of the economy but my lil kitty forces me to sort it out and get my head straight about it and not too down. I deffo would spend the rest of my life in bed if I hadn’t have welcomed this lil bubba into my life. Wish you many more healthy happy years with your loved ones, human, cat, or otherwise ❤

At 52 I’ve been proud to be a cat mommy to 16 fur babies. Currently to 3 ragdoll babies. I absolutely adore my boys… they are my world 🐾🐾💙💙💙

My cat knows that i love him. My poor baby Ali. Rest in peace. 1 week now. He ran away bcos he wasnt feeling well, but sick as he was, dragged himself home just to feel that love for his last moments. Rest in peace my beautiful precious baby. Love you to eternity and back. FOR "CENTURIES"????? Neanderthals had dogs as companions and they died out THOUSANDS of years ago! Humans have had animal companions for millennia! The cat became a companion at least 8000 years ago and maybe as long as 10,000 years or 10 Millennia ago!!!!!!!! Oh and might I draw your attention to Koko the Gorilla that ask for and got a kitten as a companion. AND CRIED when it was hit by a car and killed!

I wonder how much my fur baby understands or can smell my injuries.
She's my 1st kittie.
Got her when she was 12 weeks old.
She was born 2 months after I followed my father to his grave 2 years ago.
So it's my wee Maia and me in a small apt. outside Oslo city center.
I could write an entire tale of the last 20 years' ordeals.
Maia is my little guardian angel.
My kitty is allowed to be everywhere too, except the stove for obvious reasons.
