Love your video...Have looked at numerous videos of this video and have moved me to purchase until now. Love your comparsion with the Rider Waite deck..Thank you so much for sharing,
I have this decks and have been working with it. Just wanted to give my take on the wheel of fortune. It’s more as if the wheels of fate or fortune are not set in stone. Since we are given free will, the present decision effects the unknown future. However, fate has a way of coming around full circle and everything is woven together to work for the greater good.
Funny that i see it almost opposite of you. That the sticks and strings are our attempts to control the wheel but so frail, oh so frail are they, because the stone wheel will turn as it should.
^^^ and here lies the beauty of tarot. Been doing so much research as I've just purchased my first deck (this one) and wanted to be fully prepared and I am amazed and infatuated with everything about it. Just amazing.
Thank you for this. This is my first deck and while I love it, its definitely been challenging as a beginner. This really helped me understand the deck better.
I just bought this deck; I love it. I am also from and currently live in upstate New York, and it is precisely this wilderness and the fact that it was these woods and dirt and midnight howls that basically raised me as a child, that has inspire my current nature-based spirituality. To learn after the fact that this deck I love so much was inspired by the same thing, reinforces my connection to it in a very deep way. Thanks for the video!
I’ve just returned to divination and paganism a couple weeks ago...just bought this mew deck today...it jumped out at me of all other choices. Thank you for the cool review, i plan on watching the rest of your videos....subscribed and notifications turned on :)
Thank You for this video. I have brought a second hand deck because the new are so expensive in Australia. It does not have a guide book. I am learning tarot so I don't know all the meanings. I have also noticed this deck speaks to me intuitively. then with your take on the symbols, this has one confirmed my thoughts and expanded and gave me other avenues to read. I do hope to eventually get the book because I like to read the creators thoughts and inturpretation of their decks :)
I watched this video and you completely sold me on this deck!! However this will be my very first deck. I just watched your other video and you say that newbies should really start off with a RWS deck. Please tell me I will be okay learning on the wild unknown. It spoke to me and then your video just clinched it. ❤️❤️❤️
You can definitely start with the Wild Unknown deck if this is the deck that calls to you! :) . As you work through learning the meanings of the cards, you can also look up other interpretations (as in the RWS or more historical decks) to deepen your understanding of the card's meanings.
I learned a lot from working with both this and the RWS and trying to figure out how the same card in both decks “meant” the same thing, rather than just trying to memorize meanings. Also, because I didn’t really vibe with the RWS, I didn’t mind using it as a study deck while I read with WU.
I am new to your channel but am really glad to have seen this video. It is very informative, and I really appreciate the unique presentation and wealth of details. 💕💕💕
There are lots of great books and websites where you can research the meanings of the cards. I also offer a Tarot lessons through my site (www.arcane-alchemy.com/tarot-lessons/) if you're interested in learning more about the cards and their meanings. :)
Dear Scarlet, thanks for these inspirations - what do you think about the edges of some cards, these small triangles? I can‘t find any information about that …
Do you think the cards can be read in reverse? I feel like some of the cards don't look different in reverse so it's kind of difficult, or maybe it's because I'm a beginner.
Sure, you can definitely read reversals. I tend to not read reversals as I believe that there is a light and shadow side to each card and I like to use my intuition to shape the interpretation. Though, as a reader you're able to develop your own reading style & preferences. :)
I brought the bootleg version off ebay for like 9 bucks almost All I got was a deck in a generic box type setting and no guidebook or white phamplet Yeh that's how I felt when I received it But you get what you pay for And I'm intuitive so I go with my guts Anyways 😁®️👀💯
Maybe you can answer this question for me:) but do you know why she would switch the strength card to be 11 instead of 8 and the Justice card to be 8 instead of 11? I like to use astrology and numerology when I use my decks but this one baffles me a bit.
Sure, here's a blogpost that goes into detail on why 8 and 11 were switched in the RWS deck: wmjas.wordpress.com/2014/07/21/why-waite-switched-justice-and-strength/
I recently got this deck and although I felt that I was able to connect and I loved most of the imagery I did have migraines after the first few days and then I felt uneasy the rest of the time I was using it so had to let it go. Did anyone feel the same when using this deck? I went on to read reviews taking about how some images had negative vibrations like when the artist made them she wasn't happy or something. I just don't understand it.
Even though it's a nice pic, bat is Actually in his comfort position as opposed to the purpose and meaning of the hanged man card, putting yourself in discomfort to breakthrough self limitations......
If you look at the RWS hanged man, he doesn’t look uncomfortable at all. I view the bat as a reminder to truly change your perspective rather than holding on to the story of being “upside down and uncomfortable.”
Hi! You can find the guidebook sold here www.thewildunknown.com/collections/all/products/the-wild-unknown-official-keepsake-box-set?variant=24877223624

Thanks for your comment! Thats a great insight on the wheel of fortune. :)

Free will is a human ILLUSION……Christ can’t you simply look at how decisions are made …it’s been PROVEN…..
But humans gotta have that free will!

I'm completely new to tarot reading and I was wondering, how do you know what each card means/stands for?

My first thought was owls because swords are associated with the mind
Upstate NY in the house 🤘🤘🤘 great video

I am personally not a fan of the deck but the way you explain it. It makes me want to purchase it lol

That pamphlet did not come in my deck :( However it DID come with the book, so I guess that is good
Sounds like you got the third edition. I think hers is the second but it could be the first
The deck in this video is the second edition
Wow!!!***

That's how it's always been, Waite swapped them
I recently got this deck and although I felt that I was able to connect and I loved most of the imagery I did have migraines after the first few days and then I felt uneasy the rest of the time I was using it so had to let it go. Yes! Some of the cards in this deck (like the 10 of swords) definitely gave me some really negative vibes.

WhatS a daughter of Zeus playing with tarot cards
Hi, I couldn't find the larger guidebook you were referring to in this video, any info on how I could find it? Thank you!
Hi! You can find the guidebook sold here www.thewildunknown.com/collections/all/products/the-wild-unknown-official-keepsake-box-set?variant=24877223624
How do you know what the cards with no English are?
You look at the roman-number at the top and then at the object depicted. So VIII and drawing of sticks would be 8 of Wands.
? Didn't Kim Carnes do 'Draw of the Cards' ?
utube it.
😍😍❤❤
Que tarot de Rider es??
