- First time running the ZL1 1LE with the correct tires at Autoclub. I upgraded the brakes to the Hawk DTC 70 front and 60 rear and upgraded the brake lines.
We had a slight issue with engine heat spiking then going back to normal (about 4 times per lap) so we pulled off the track.
I still need to work on braking more before turning in to the corners.
All in all it feels good, now it's time to go fast. - Авто та транспорт

Do you know what caused the heat to spike up? Nice video, looks like a lot of fun! I just picked up a 2020 SS 1LE, love it so far.
Its known that the Zl1s, corvette Z06s, CTS-Vs (GMs supercharged v8s)are prone to heat soaking on the track. Heater exchangers cant keep up with the job. Not sure how new this car is, but GM reportedly fixed the issue on later model years but dont know for sure. Most LT4 owners that know they will be tracking their beast just upgrade the heat exchange, cheap and easy mod that solves the issue.
This is different than the heat soak. My temp gauge would go from normal temp to very hot then back to normal 3 or 4 times per lap.
