This watch is great! I also could not resist and bought one. It has a very distinct Seiko signature (the SKX style). The dark blue color of the dial is amazing, as it is the blue/black bezel. btw. the true GMT for me will always be the Casio Royale, but modded with real stainless-steel case and sapphire crystal ;)
I own this watch as well. Absolutely love this watch . My only gripe was the clasp so I bought a Marine Master clasp off eBay and it’s absolutely perfect 👍🏻 now 💯.
They're the same watch, SSK003 is just quicker to say. K1 versions typically means it's made outside of Japan (Korea, Malaysia, etc.) while J1 indicates it was made in Japan. They are essentially the same watch, just made in different countries.
Great watch but change out with a Sapphire Crystal and it's then where it should be. You can use a SKX007 sized crystal (about $45) - Just re-use the OEM gasket and you're good. There is no reason it should not have come like this from Seiko. Still a great watch as is, but even better once you mod it.
Yeah that bothered me till I actually bought the watch, not that fussed about keeping the cyclops to be honest. It sticks out which is not something I expected. Nice watch for the money all the same.
@@sajjadhossain4669 best thing to do is try it on if you can, so you can get a look and feel of what it would be like on your wrist. At 6 inches, the lugs may overhang your wrist, or meet the edge of your wrist.
This watch has absolutely nothing to do with any Rolex. And that’s why I like it.
This is the most beautiful GMT watch regardless of price.
For me, the actually most beautiful batman gmt
It's a stunner!
Batman is the Rolex GMT-Master II 116710BLNR. This Seiko model is nicknamed 'Blueberry'.

How is it with the scratches on the glass?
@@Nash_St I don’t have any scratches on my crystal at all.
That’s great, hope you won’t have any. That’s is my only concern about the watch. Such a shame there is no a sapphire…
It’s pretty hard wearing, one step under what Sapphire glass is on the hardness scale.
Clasp is too long on my 5.5 wrist, shaping weird bracelet angle at 12 o’clock. Swapped bracelet for nato strap and good to go now.
Fantastic review
This watch looks so good!
It really does, the dial and bezel work well together
Pretty awesome review ! M getting one tomorrow the black grape, just wanna know can this be an everyday beater watch ? Please help !
It can definitely be worn as an everyday watch, just be careful with the crystal, as it's hardlex and not sapphire.
Thanks for sharing this beautiful watch 👍
No problem at all
Great watch i love mine. Gets some good comments from others. Hardlex/sapphire who will notice who will care.
A future seiko classic the 003.
How is it with the scratches on the glass? That’s my only concern
@@Nash_St there isn't any 🤔
Thanks for the response. How long you have it?
@@Nash_St about 4 months now.
Hope you’re enjoying wearing it. I’m thinking between Tissot seastar 1000 quartz with sapphire glass and Seiko ssk003 automatic with Hardlex.
looks amazing super classy !
How much is the price?
I‘m buying the black one
Can you please help me understand the difference between SSK 003 and the SSK003-1

I agree, if it came with a sapphire from the get go, it would be amazing.
But this crystal had no cyclops?

Super nice watch!
Oh ya
I am sorry, where do you see the silver minutes?
The markings on the chapter ring have a silver colour to them.
Nice watch. And callouses - deadlift much? ;-)
what is the difference between ssk003 and ssk003k1?
And it is good for 6 inch wrist?
No difference, I just say ssk003 as it's much easier to say. It may be a little big for a 6 inch wrist.
@@welcomewrist Is it okay to buy it as a 6 inch wrist?

Wish it had a smaller version
It is small
Nice job.
Why does it sound you are out of breath for every sentence? The continual pause between almost each word is obnoxious.
Unwatchable until I sped it up 1.75x
Hate the side profile.
Interesting. I actually like the side profile.
The bracelet is garbage I recommend buying the marinemaster
😩💧💦折角の良い⤴️時計が❗️💦…
何故❓💦日本製を選ばなかったのか⁉️😰💧💦…
Hardlex at that price! What a joke.
Definitely would've liked to see sapphire here
Not all of us are poor 5 hundred doesn't go far these days. Dude it's a hell of a watch, show some love for the mighty Seiko
It's called value seeing as tons of competitors in this price range include saphire.
It can work of displaying the day of the of the month...perhaps even the year.....
Where would you fit that in on the dial?
