Oh wow! You mentioned the EltonHead family.....That explains the name given to Elton Head Road in St.Helens. Well I never knew. Thank you. I used to work at Roughdales brick works on Chester Lane....
I usually get on here @5.52mins, that's Mucky Mountains to the right. I take the path either to Sankey viaduct and all the way to Carr Mill and beyond, or the opposite way vis Winwick Quay, on to Spike Island and the 'Wooly Back Loop' as you call it. Wonderful area, with many different routes, you can really lose yourself anywhere down here.
Great videos Kieran, need to check out some of these routes - I assume you don’t do Strava. Friend of mine had a British Eagle Blackrock bike in the 90s!
@@BimblismUK No problem at all! Watched a few more of your vids, really enjoyable stuff good quality footage and great historical knowledge. Keep them up! Music also very good. Your channel reminds me of my friend Robbie Cumming's Narrowboat Channel, he's grown his considerably with Patreon and provides a lot of narrowboat and canal history content too. All of the work he films himself and he writes all his own music too, so if you like your canals and your music give him a watch. He's gone on to do two BBC series too.
Another Brilliant Video, Kieran Full History Of My Childhood Area 😀 👍

You can get to anywhere from there without touching a road. Liverpool Manchester and everything inbetween. :)

I don't. I tend to just use open street maps on the cycle mode. Thanks for watching :)
