This is a PRO Kho Tao video. You should have gone to the bars where problems usually arise, and then if it is with a local, you're in trouble. If this video was meant to be ivestigative, you fell way short.
We showed our experience of our time in Koh Tao. This is what we did and what we saw! After our time there, we decided we liked it a lot! Thanks for watching 😋🥰🫡
DUDE IM SO SCARED OF GOING, we are going this vacation and man i need some reassurance, im going with my family, we are kids in the family. Is that dangerous? Or is it just teens?? I cant just stop from going there either... please. It just seems like most attacks go late at night towards solo female travelers.
So the conclusion is it's safe and you loved it? I've lived here for 20 years. My daughter has grown up here, she's 14 now. I personally feel safer here than in many places in the world I've traveled. I think you're as safe here as anywhere in Thailand and your video sent the same message. Great video, I smashed the like button :-)
Thanks for the advice. We didn’t have any problems at all and thought that the island was absolutely beautiful. But it’s definitely worth keeping your wits about you… but I would recommend the same for anywhere in the world, especially while travelling alone!
It sure has changed a bunch since I was there 22 years ago!! I absolutely loved the couple of weeks I spent on the island. The coffee game is 100x better now as only instant Nescafe was available back then but also no murders!! Is that the price of progress? I remember hearing the news of the first two and being shocked/surprised by it but I had no idea more people had met such a horrible fate. Very sad but I still want to go back to Koh Tao.
I ain't been for around 16 yrs,l spent several years there all in all.not sure l want to go back, nothing to do with murders.the poor Burmese get treated really bad there which makes you realise how bad it is in Myanmar.
It def reminds me of this film the beach where u see leonardo dicaprio discovering a remote island inhabited by mafia
Definitely! It felt like that in some areas, very quiet and peaceful. No mafia spotted though!
Koh Tao is not safe..every foreign business owner gets bumped.
It does seem to happen for foreign businesses... but as a tourist visiting the island, I felt completely safe :)

Was expecting some kind of documentary about the deaths??

I Love Koh Tao! just now posting my videos from last season there.
Amazing! Glad you had a great time. Will check it out!
What a view, love your video. If you love big stone or something like that, i suggest you to come to Belitung island, indo,. Thats it
Is there anywhere to leaves your valuables on these beaches or do you just risk leaving your camera stuff?

Stay away at any costs. Speaking of own experience - just advising to stay the fk away from this island.

What was your bad experience may I ask ?
Agreed, in my experience too. It's akin to the Wild West.
