- Ha Long Bay is a truly iconic UNESCO site in Vietnam. Sail among thousands of majestic limestone karsts, and nearly 2000 islands, that rise out of the calm jade-colored waters.
Ha Long Bay has some of the most beautiful scenery in the world! It can be experienced on land; however, a cruise on the calm, emerald waters is best! There is nothing better than having the freedom to paddle where you please, going for a swim in the cool turquoise waters, and spotting colorful fish. This is a great way of getting up close and personal with the limestone cliffs towering above you. Within the limestone formations, there are many incredible caves to discover. Most of the caves are enormous and have stalagmites and stalactites.

I landed Hanoi ! In July .. they allow drone

Nice video. Have a question regarding the transportation from Ninh Bihn to Halong bay. Where did you book the bus from(Online/Offline) and is it big enough to carry the luggage as well?
Hi yes you can carry your big luggage as well .. and you can get good buses also direct from Ninh binh to ha long bay .. happy journey 😃

I read in one of your comment replies that you feel booking a cruise package at hanoi through a travel agency is better than pre-booking from India itself. Are the charges lesser when booked through a travel agency in hanoi or through apps like Agoda beforehand in India?
I really believe to book with travel agent while staying in Hanoi . Main market ! You will find a lot of travel agents !

Hey I went directly to halong bay and booked and got good price but I won’t recommend . Better when you are in Hanoi , book through travel agent. There are so many travel agent in old town Hanoi.. they will give you best of the best cruise package . No need to book in advance from india

Hi Aarya,
I intend to visit Vietnam for my honeymoon during march 1st week.
I am planning to go for the Ha Long Bay Cruise.
I will be put up in a hotel (Inter continental hanoi westlake) in Hanoi.So, I was enquiring about the cruises online on a website.
So they were telling that they provide a pickup and drop shuttle bus service from the hotel in Hanoi to the cruise.
The charges are $40 per person.
So, Firstly, I wish to ask that should I pay this amount or would it fall cheaper if I take a bus by myself from Hanoi to Ha Long Bay and back.
Secondly, I wish to ask that post the cruise, I plan to travel to Phu Quoc by air.
So keeping in mind the travel from Ha Long Bay to Hanoi Airport and then minimum time to reach before a domestic flight in Vietnam,
around what time onwards should I look to book the flight. As in like any flight post let say 4 pm or 5 pm or what would you suggest.?
Kindly help me with this information.

Just go to old Hanoi and you will find a lot of travel agent in the market ! Very easy to book with them
