@@raghuveersengar I don’t know if the question is for me but yes, better carry USD and only USD 100 new notes. Don’t carry USD 20 denomination as the you get lower exchange value. I just returned from Vietnam in January. I carried 1000 USD and wherever I needed, I just walked into any Jewellery store and exchanged 300 USD each time whenever I needed. For anywhere where they accept card, directly use your Indian credit card. Better than withdrawing from ATM there. Just activate international transactions on your credit debit card via NetBanking or mobile app and you are good to go.

What are the bookings (flights, hotels, cruises etc) that can be done in INR before leaving India? Is it advisable to carry a forex card loaded with VND? Hi, I’m planning a trip to Vietnam in the next few weeks and have a question about the e-visa process. It'll be me, my wife, and our 2-year-old daughter traveling. Do I need to apply for three separate e-visas for each of us, or can my daughter be added to either mine or my wife’s e-visa? I’ve tried looking up information on UA-cam, but it hasn’t been very helpful. If anyone has recently traveled to Vietnam with kids, I’d really appreciate your insights. Thanks in advance!
Sir, I very much appreciate the efforts you have taken and find very informative and you did it well, explained each and every aspect of the travel plan. Let me ask one information, whether to engage any guide or we can manage the language with English, how is the culture of the country (I mean about risks of theft/cheating). Regarding shopping part also, whether electronic goods are cheaper compared to India.

@wandering monk thank you so much for the wonderful guide through Vietnam. I am quite confused regarding booking of internal flights, the link given is of 12goasia is it good? Have you booked all internal flights via 12goasia? And what about hotels in Vietnam on which site have you booked the same?
Great video. I am planning to visit in April 1st week next year, will that be suitable or not. Where i might find rainy season in that duration? It that time okay to visit whole country?
Greetings Mr wandering monk first of all I would thank you for creating such vlogs on UA-cam it really motivated me to visit vietnam which i am going in July.I had a question i tried to check the conversion rate from Inr to viet dong on book my forex i put 10k inr out of which they are only giving me viet dong worth 4k inr and the rest 6k inr are their commission. So i was only going to carry USD to vietnam and is there an atm at the hanoi airport where i can withdraw money as soon as i land for my taxi and sim and can convert the usd later in the old quaters

Very useful and informative video - thank you! If we travel in the ideal months March is it better to travel from North to South or South to North. Many bloggers have mentioned since North is more beautiful, its better to go from South to North. We are planning a similarly itinerary but for 2 weeks so we thought of including Mua Caves trek and maybe Nha Trang. What do you suggest based on the weather? Any recommendations for something that should not be missed for 14 days in Vietnam apart from the itinerary shared?
Thanks for watching. March would be a good month weather wise. North to South or vice versa does not matter much. You can add Phu Quoc, Nha Thrang & Ban Gioc waterfall near China border in your itinerary.
It's complicated or costly side trip in my view. If you go by flight takes about an hour but tickets are costly in my opinion- 12go.asia/en/travel/ho-chi-minh-city/siem-reap?date=2023-01-27&people=1&direction=forward The cheaper option is bus via Phnom penh, but takes more time plus a halt in Phnom Penh. 12go.asia/en/travel/ho-chi-minh-city/phnom-penh?date=2023-01-27&people=1&direction=forward 12go.asia/en/travel/phnom-penh/siem-reap?date=2023-01-27&people=1&direction=forward

Is vegetarian foods easily accessible at tourist places or we would have to search for Indian restaurants only ?
Best informative video ever seen
Thank you so much 💓
Thank you very much for the indepth Information

Hi.we r planning to visit either Vietnam or Thailand.can u please recommend which country offer more of beautiful sight seeing places/ tourist spots/places ?
We will cover only 1 of the 2.
I suggest go to Vietnam
Very informative vlog....we r planning to leave for Vietnam in next 10 days and want to know about forex. You have mentioned that niyo global forex card was helpful..if i apply today can I get it in this week.. also is withdrawal from ATM there with niyo is easier and cheaper than carrying local currency from here
Thanks for watching.
Usually, you will get Niyo (from DCB) within 3-4 days & it's more convenient & safer to withdraw than carrying lots of cash with you.
Vert informative video saurabh ji... Thanks for it... Just wanted to know that do we have indian veg options in the breakfast served in the hotel or we should prefer to have breakfast outside only?
Rahte hain but thode limited, mainly bakery & fruits.
Hello Sir. Your itinerary for vietnam is very helpful.
Can you please clarify.
1. Domestic airlines - i checked flights in vietjet and bamboo airlines from hanoi to danang to ho chi min
2. Vietjt is very cheap. But bamboo airlines ranges from 2000 to 17000 for just one route. It is shocking. When dod you travel sir? Feb??
3. I hear vietjet always delays flights
4. Shud i book muticity tickets or one way from hanoi to danang to ho chi min ??
Thank you .
I traveled in Aug, yes Vietjet is not very punctual.
You can book one way instead of Multi city.
@@WanderingMonk oh Aug ?? Prices are at peak in August.. bamboo airlines is 8k... i thought its peak summer and very hot in Aug??
Hi,
I’m planning a trip to Vietnam in the next few weeks and have a question about the e-visa process.
Thanks in advance!
very well explained covering all items. Thanks
Glad it was helpful!
You are excellent I watch all your vlogs
Thank you so much 🙂
Sir, I very much appreciate the efforts you have taken and find very informative and you did it well, explained each and every aspect of the travel plan. Let me ask one information, whether to engage any guide or we can manage the language with English, how is the culture of the country (I mean about risks of theft/cheating). Regarding shopping part also, whether electronic goods are cheaper compared to India.
Hi, thanks for the nice words.
If you use Google Translate app then should be fine not very smooth but workable. People are nice & have not heard much about safety issues. Thoda bahut to har jagah hota hi hai.
We want to also visit Phu Quoc in our vietnam trip, thinking to cover Halonh bay, Hoi an , dalat, and Phu quoc ( it's in south) . What do you think of this
It's a beautiful Island, you can have it in your itinerary. You can either enter or exit from Phu Quoc on your trip.
Very good explained sir 🎉
Thanks and welcome☺️
well explained. thanks for the information.
Glad it was helpful!

@wandering monk thank you so much for the wonderful guide through Vietnam. I am quite confused regarding booking of internal flights, the link given is of 12goasia is it good? Have you booked all internal flights via 12goasia? And what about hotels in Vietnam on which site have you booked the same?
Amakeo niye jao 🙂
For flights, I used 12go & Trip.com. For hotels, multiple sites like Booking, Agoda & Trip. Relevant links are in the description.
so thank you.... nicely described the details.
Glad it was helpful!
Great video. I am planning to visit in April 1st week next year, will that be suitable or not. Where i might find rainy season in that duration? It that time okay to visit whole country?
The rainfalls across country is on a lower side in April but it might be hot & humid. April is one of the better months to visit Vietnam.
Yes, there are plenty of ATMs in the arrival hall from which you can withdraw.
@@WanderingMonk Thank you so much 😊 I am going to Vietnam in July i have watched all your videos and created my itinerary accordingly. This is my solo trip
Thanks. Very well explained & in great detail
Glad it was helpful!
@@WanderingMonk Thank you very much for the suggestions! :)
Hi which places are good to visit during mid July
Very nice! Informative!
Glad you think so!
very nice , what are your views to travel fm ho chi minh to Angkor temples, siam reap cambodia?
It's complicated or costly side trip in my view.
If you go by flight takes about an hour but tickets are costly in my opinion-

The cheaper option is bus via Phnom penh, but takes more time plus a halt in Phnom Penh.

Hello Sir, We are planning to visit Vietnam in the month of December. We are planning to start from Hanoi.
Is that correct path or south to north will be better. Could you please guide us there with a proper itinerary? That will be very helpful for us. Thank you in advanced.
Apologies for the late reply.
North to South or vice versa is fine just check the ticket prices which way is cheaper. Itinerary is there in the description.
Best and detailed info sir. Thanks
