- A review of Crow Country, the latest Indie Survival Horror Throwback by SFB Games.
I was hooked on this game's visual aesthetic from the moment it was revealed, and I'm happy to say the game was a great time! I figured I'd try to break into horrortubing a bit more frequently with covering this game, and it quickly dominated my thoughts for the few weeks I got to play it. It's very much inspired by the 32-bit era of survival horror popularized by Resident Evil, but brings it's own unique flare to the mix.

According to the devs on twitter, hard mode will be added in a future update! That addresses probably my biggest issue with the game, so this is great!
Edit: As of today, Murder of Crows (hard mode) has been added to the game!
As a wittle scardy baby I do not do good with horror but I'm still interested in it. So yeah its nice to be able to watch other people play them. I still cringe when I remember how I punched a hole into a wall when I tried Haunting grounds. It wasn't even a scary part that lead to the hole punching.
Well now you gotta say what made you punch that wall I'm curious
@@culIen It was right after the first chase sequence and for whatever reason I guess my shitty old crt tvs volume had suddenly lowered then jumped to max and the sound of the ticking clock freaked me out.
i will pause the review for when i finish the game myself. The fact that you're covering it at all it's all i needed!

Really appreciate you bringing this game to my attention I definitely would have missed it otherwise, and always happy to see someone else understand how unironically scary that Amy level is in SA1 lmao.
Her final boss was so cathartic for the psychic damage I got in each of her stages. They were so mean to put those levels in a kids game and I love them for it lmaooo
