Ok...I have watched so many...maybe too many... hack videos . I have NEVER felt the need to comment on any of the million and one I've watch...but I gotta say I am impressed! I am desperately searching my home for clear shower curtain rings... 😂 . I will give it to you...these are some clever hacks. Thank you!
Watching these videos always makes me go out and buy a bunch of these things but I never actually get around to making them so now I just have so much built up crafting things that's taking up so much room in my house. I find it hard to find the time, motivation or the energy to actually make these crafts. It sucks because I really want to make them. Another reason is I can't find most of these items in any of my Dollar Trees and when I do eventually find the time and the energy to make some of these, I notice that I'm missing one or more of the things I need to finish it (ie. Spray paint, regular paint, wood stain, some of the brushes for the paint and above all, I don't have a cricut machine, they cost too much for me to justify buying one right now). I definitely have to get around to making the crafts that I set out to make though because it'll help me clean out some of my craft stuff and I can make some really cool stuff out of it too.
I bought small & large dinosaurs from Dollar Tree & with a little blue, brown & green food coloring for water, dirt & grass I made cute dinosaur birthday cakes for my grandson's & great grandson's birthdays. For $8 for dinosaurs & $3 for plants I cut apart for plants & trees the little boys each had a 4th birthday cake that they loved & they got to keep the dinosaurs. It would have been about $40. In a grocery store for 3 dinosaurs, a couple trees & the cake. I also bought dinosaur plates, dessert plates, napkins, table runner & decorations for their parties.
Hey girl heeeey... so funny because when this came on I immediately thought of you. I was like "I should look up a Glue Guns & Roses video" and there you were... *LOVE* your name BTW.
If you are doing concrete when it is super hot outside, you definitely want to water the concrete for a couple days, that way you won’t get any cracks. My grandfather owned a cement company so I thought I would share. Thank you for so many fun ideas!
@@DIYboymom yes and it’s also in Masonary and rock. So many crafts and flipping homes that we do when we’re young we do not realize how important it is to be wearing a good mask not just a paper one which does not do a whole lot. We discovered from flipping old homes at how much asbestos is in paint, floor tiles, shower enclosures, ect. and my dad died of lung cancer so we learned our lesson the hard way.
I just found you this week. I'm so impressed with your creativity! I got left out when they were handing out the creativity gene. Keep it up! I love the DT! 💞
The two planters turned into porch table is cool.. I would also do it with a glass top and add a bouquet of artificial flowers or something nice you like like a shadow box item you can view through your glass top after you adhere the glass...
I loved the planters filled with concrete & broom stick I will add hooks for kids to use around pool for the towels. Thank you so much for All your ideas
I love them all. I went crazy with the plastic red sleighs this yr, all different themes and those over the door hangers make perfect sleigh runners for them, coordinated some wine corks with the sleigh colors and used them to lift the runners up off of the sleighs!!
The Terra Cotta nome was very creative, but my favorite was the Terra Cotta wind chime you did. Keep the creativity flowing. Thank you. You're awesome.
Wow! We have a very small Dollar Tree. Never have seen many items you used. You have a large selection. I tried to order some items but a few come in cases of 24. I will need to continue thrifting.
Shannon, love your video, I saw a lady use suran wrap to put over the mod Podg to get the bubbles out and then peal off so as not to tear the paper. Lovely.
Love your hacks. I'm going to do 3 or 4 of them myself. Thanks for sharing them with us. I also love your Cozy Christmas Cottage videos, as I just love the Christmas holidays.
I have really enjoyed your videos so much! I tried a few of your hacks and honestly you make it look so easy...it took me much longer, but I've enjoyed learning from you. I loved your tribute at the end and your genuine humbleness and appreciation you showed your viewers. Something really lacking in today's world! I ❤ and appreciate you too!
You could even put dirt on top of the concrete in the plant hangers and have maybe some ivy type plant spilling over the sides. I think I might make some. TY. Great hacks!!
Great projects. Its prob important to note: Take green plastic covering off the floral stems to fit down into your FROG. Again great job--creative and pretty. Hard to pick which I like best! Thx
I never really liked gnomes, but now since they've become so popular I had an entire craft gnome room at Christmas with 3 trees and now I have them in my craft room for valentines day. So I've changed my mind about them.😁
Lumber has gotten so expensive I'm glad I save all of my husband's left over pieces from his building projects. I use them for everything. I make all of my garden signs out of either 1/4" plywood or beadboard pieces. 😊
I love your ideas and how you make stuff. I was moved to mention that when you drilled that pole , you do what you want I am just mentioning, that I would hold it with the center of a fully expanded pair of pliers. Anyway, Great ideas and I love your show. DIY!
When making the napkin ring, if you take a lighter and burn off the wispy parts of the twine, it gives a cleaner look. Plus, it doesn't start a fire; it will just lightly singe it.
Need some scale on your porch scape…a taller sign will definitely do it. Love the diy lantern! Doesn’t look homespun tacky at all - thanks for the idea!!
I love gnomes and yours turned out great. I would have used the wedding side of wood for the table too. The plant stands are great. Thanks for sharing these.
I just LOVE your tutorials & ideas! Where you come up with some of these ideas is beyond me! I absolutely LOVE crafting & can't wait to try them! BTW, your craft room shelving is So organized! Love it! Thanks fear for all your inspirations! Merry Christmas & Happy New Year! ❤🌲🎉
I don’t know why this video was in my feed, but I found it today (1/11/22) and watched it all the way to the end, because I love creating new things. I’m very creative and love places like Dollar Tree & Hobby Lobby that seem to have an endless variety of supplies to choose from! I’d love to have a special room in my place for organizing all my supplies (like you do) but I do the best I can with the space I have. I’m glad I found your channel. I subscribed and look forward to making things from this video. Your home is gorgeous and I look forward to learning more from you! Thank you! I enjoyed this 😊❤️

That’s so great!
I like the shower curtain rings after you wrap the jute around maybe at Christmas you could add holly for a garland
You hit this one out of the park! ❤ your ideas and it’s like a friend come to visit.
You knocked this out of the park.
I am not a crafty person but this video has turned me into one, thanks for showing me how easy and fun it can be

I learned that when I was ten and asking questions of a man pouring and watering concrete.
Live flowers in the bottom of the plant hangers instead of rocks would be so pretty with the hanging baskets. 😊
I love gnomes!❤️ I have outdoor, indoor, and holiday gnomes! I think they're cute and whimsical additions to your home and garden.
ME TOO‼️🫶🏼
I just found you this week. I'm so impressed with your creativity! I got left out when they were handing out the creativity gene. Keep it up! I love the DT! 💞

Love the shower curtain/picture.
Gnomes and nutcrackers are my favorite.
I use the big clips, along with the Dollar Tree hangers, for hanging dress pants, skirts, and other things that can't go into the dryer

Ms. Shannon its a great idea. Thanks for sharing your awesome video with us 👍👍👍🙋♀️its all beautiful have a wonderful day
Nice job! You could put dirt in the bottom of your planters and plants annual flowers, hang a flower basket on the hook. Enjoy your channel.
You can do your finger nail polish with water dipping like that also. Glad you shared all of these ❤
You could even put dirt on top of the concrete in the plant hangers and have maybe some ivy type plant spilling over the sides. I think I might make some. TY. Great hacks!!
You have a great channel with a wealth of wonderful creative ideas for everyone to take on. Bravo!
I am at the Dollar Tree a lot. I love your ideas. So creative and they look really professional.
Thanks Julie!
Great projects. Its prob important to note: Take green plastic covering off the floral stems to fit down into your FROG. Again great job--creative and pretty. Hard to pick which I like best! Thx
You could combine the dipping method and then use the Jute to create colorful napkin rings. Change it up a bit.
Love all these great ideas!!!! Just iffy on the flip flop ones.
Thanks again for sharing
Hi 👋 Doris, can I talk to you for a moment?
What a creative youngling you are!

You so do!!! So handy to grab and go!
