I know this is 7 years old Sky Motor, but this will also work for the 2014 Murano, because I have one and it's the same. Thanks for sharing. When he took out the window... I was like... this can't be right. Can anyone link a video that shows the way to replace the handle without disassembling the whole door.
I have a 2016 Rogue SV coming into the shop for a driver's door replacement. I doubt they have changed much. So this video has helped me immensely! Thank you very much for taking the time and sharing this. Very well done.
Thanks for your informative vid, I learnt enough from it to fix my door, specially how to disconnect the lock rod to take out the look. Saved me a lot of headscratching.
Thanks for a very informative video! I have two bad lock actuators in the front doors. 2009 murano . I can tackle the job myself after watching this video. Thanks agian!
BTW - removing the door panel is necessary for the keyless Intelligent Door Handle. The screw hole trick works only for the base trim model without the keyless entry feature.
Another piece of information; the set screw usually does not fully come out, it starts slipping half way, you think the screw has been fully backed out, but it has not. So if you try to pull out the lock cylinder block at this point, it won't come out because the screw is still in the block. I got the screw all out by pulling the lock block hard to put some tension on the screw to make the thread to engage again, in the same time continue to turn the screw until it is completely out. After that, the lock block is totally free, and can be pull out easily.
Hi Romain No, I did not manually wire them. Canada version has running day lights on (fog lights for 2010 Murano). After engine starts and the transmission is shifted into D with E Brake off then the Fog lights will be automatically turn on. Even after gear back into P and applying E brake with engine idling, the fog lights are still on.
Fantastic video!! When you are finished, does the smart key fob automatically recognize the iKey, or do you have to re-program the key fob somehow? If you do have to re-program the key fob, how do you do that? Thanks!
Sorry for late reply. I had problem of recovering my youtube password. Yes Smart key fob automatically recognizes the new door switch. No need for reprogramming. It is just plug and play.
I'm not sure about the intelligent key handle but theres a plastic or rubber cap on the side of the door that let's u take the assembly out in like 3 minutes with put messing with the window
Also i believe u can just use a clamp with some kind of rubber guard on it to hold the window up instead of having to mess with it. I personally held it up with duct tape then got the glue off with goo be gone and the bolts for the metal door shield on the inside was color coded GOLD for window assembly nothing for door.
All 4 of my wife's locks have gone out. Your video has helped me change out both front locks. Appreciate you taking the time to make this video

❤My Humble Gratitude For Your Clear Tut😊
If my Murano doesn't have intelligent door handle and I install an intelligent one, will the smart feature work?
Great video, thanks so much.
Thanks for the information

Sweet job thanks for the video I’ve got to do this this weekend
Thanks for the video, but my gosh, that music is annoying! :)

How does the key lock retention screw come out. Mine has a clip on the outside and the lock won’t release
Great vid...I noticed that your fog lights were on, without turning the headlights on in another vid, did you manually wire them to function that way?
Hi Romain
No, I did not manually wire them.

Do you have to take the window out or can you just leave it up?
Yes, the window needs to be removed because the black panel is holding the window.
Do you have to disassemble the window?
Yes for this Murano design, windows needs to be removed.
nissan murano 2009 is the mechanism the same?
yes it should be same 2009-2014
other video says, you don't need to takeoff the door panel
Does this work with a 2010 nissan rogue?
If it is intelligent handle, it should be same design as Murano.
How did the switch come off the door.
the video shows: remove the key mechanism first then slide the the door switch handle out of way.
The door handle switch inside of the door wtf
What a pain in the asss I want a regular door handle
Remove window omg to hard
Remove window seal wtf
Y the gay was music wtf
