Hey everyone, sorry for how dark the video is. Elgato capture plus UA-cam compression did not do the footage any service. I hope you all can still enjoy the video script at the very least. Thanks for watching!
I like how it gives two explanations for Evie’s actions for different types of players, while not setting one in stone. As stated in one of the notes, it’s likely that Evie’s focus on family was part of her cold, calculating nature as a bio weapon, but it also presents to possibility that her obsession with family is drawn from her tragic upbringing. The game doesn’t set one in stone, which allows the player to form their own opinion on her.
That’d be great! But I’ve got a feeling that the two movie channels aren’t in love with me and Dartigan for “copying” their content. I hope i’m wrong. But to not get my hopes up, i’m satisfied doing my own thing ya know?
@@GamingWins I ain't so sure on that, at least with CinemaWins. He did basically the same thing by being directly inspired by CinemaSins so would be mighty hypocritical to be annoyed you're doing the same thing as him but for gaming. That said I don't know that, just what I'd expect given his personality. Either way you just keep doing you and making the content you want to make; you make good stuff and that should be lauded.
One win I think you missed was with the subtitle. In Japan the game series is known as Biohazard, As such the name in Japan was "Biohazard 7: Resident Evil" which was a really nice way of merging the titles and both really work for the game.
@@Rafael-jj6be It's a matter of opinion. They're both outstanding games, but they also both have completely different playstyles and themes and some might like one over the other

Man that introduction to the family really stuck with me when this game first came out. Same with Clancy going through Lucas’ little game, it’s still really unsettling
Killing it with these videos as always man! Respectfully, I think RE7 was a better 'experience' compared to Village. Village felt more arcade-based and a little less frightening (I think that was intended), but Biohazard felt more inclusive and horror themed. I can see why others prefer either game, but I think RE7 was a richer experience. Pizza!

This was my first RE game. I got it when I bought my PSVR as part of the bundle. Playing in VR for the first time through was utterly terrifying. I’ve also played 8 since it was a direct sequel but I’ve played no other RE game in the franchise. Biohazard and Village were great though.
I can’t decide if what I like about this channel more is the vindication about what games I like or the fun facts and hidden details that most people miss.
I got this for my kid 2 years ago with the VR and it was amazing. I loved RE since the first game back in '96 or '97 and recently discovered gaming again after decades of addiction. It really is a great introduction to the franchise and playing it in VR just makes it that much better (using your head to aim the gun, as opposed to buttons, was a very nice touch). I just wished that Village was in VR and kinda felt let down that it wasn't.
This may just be me but in "End of Zoe" I think Zoe fell in love with Ethan a little bit. When he calls to check on her and Zoe says "You didn't forget about me!" he tone in her voice sounds like she developed a crush on Ethan.
I’m in a weird spot where I started playing RE in the awkward 5/6 era, loved 5 and had to go through the backlog. Would love to see you start from Zero and go through the rest of the series.
I thought you may have pointed this out but if you listen to jack’s voice in his last boss fight, he sounds like he’s a lot of pain and if you remember at the start of the game. He says something close to not feel pain.
I can't believe you didn't win the escape room scene (and there was something else you missed that I can't remember) Edit: I remember now, its the fact that Lucas killed someone before Evie infected the baker family as shown through the journal in his room
