  • Studying in Norway is tuition fee free, but how to get funding to live in Norway. Actually, it is possible to get funds for studying in Norway even if you are not Norwegian citizen. Lånekassen provides some option to non-Norwegian citizens as well. In this video, I am explaining how Norwegian students apply for support at Lånekassen. On which conditions. How they return a loan and do they return everything or some parts of loan can be converted into a grant. In which cases or who can apply for loan and grants for studying from Lånekassen. And I finalise a video by proposing some other options if you are not eligible to apply for funds at Lånekassen.

Lovely video. Keep on giving us beautiful vibes. I have been longing to study in Norway for masters for the past few years. But each time I remember the money to be deposited in Norwegian account, I will just back off. May be by God's grace, I will be in Norway or European country one day.

Thanks so much for your sharing. Please let me ask one question. I don't understand it quite well. Students outside from EU/EEA are not allowed to freelance. But I see international students outside from EU/EEA,who are studying in Norway can be UA-camrs. Please explain me. This is really important to me. Thank you.💙

Hi. International students on student visa can work up to 20 hours per week in Norway. Freelancing job is probably is not accepted as a proof of funding since it is not a type of job providing a person with stable income. UA-cam is not always a source of income, and if you started it from your home country and pay taxes there, then I don't see how it is related to Norway. But usually, when you have such specific questions, the best way is to ask UDI (if related to visa).
