Thanks for information, could you cover rules for Ukrainians under temporary protection? Like masters or from scratch. Since we have documents, are we considered as Norwegians when getting into university?
There is first information from university of Stavanger and people with granted protection are in the exemption list from payment of tuition fees: www.uis.no/en/exemptions-from-paying-tuition-fees-0
I wish I had spent the last three years learning German instead of Norwegian 🤦♂️ Thank you for putting so much work into finding this information! It's helpful to learn that NTNU will be sending a letter clarifying how much tuition will be along with the acceptance letter, I hope that NMBU will do this too.
Don't worry. The tuition fees will not be much. I hope you can take a loan and pay it off. Norway is way better than Germany. Don't give up. After Masters, you will easily make 7,00,000 Nok per year and pay off loan quickly.
Like Warren said, dividends are only good if the business you’re investing into can’t make good use of that capital. So if you’re trying to invest into businesses with actual growth, looking at dividends is a waste of time. Why are you investing into a company if they’re returning capital to you because they think you can make better use if it than they can. It’s not much different from bond investing. The way I see it if you have a $1 million at some point, that’d be enough to create a portfolio that would pay you between 50k-70k in dividend income...
It's not difficult, but you have to learn and handle. Another thing is that if you can't manage your home, maybe you shouldn't invest on your own. If so, you should hire a CFP to help you diversify your assets to include ETFs/index funds/mutual funds and stocks of companies with consistent cash flows, rather than betting on penny stocks.
A lot of folks downplay the role of advisors until being burnt by their own emotions. I remember couple summers back, after my lengthy divorce, I needed a good boost to help my business stay afloat, hence I researched for license advisors and came across someone of due diligence, helped a lot to grow my reserve notwithstanding inflation, from $275k to approx. $850k so far.
Over the following 3 months, I want to increase my reserve from $280,000 to at least $550,000. I would be grateful for any advice you can give on how to accurately predict the market and how to diversify and balance my portfolio in order to accomplish my goal.
Thank you. I just checked her out now and I've sent an email. I hope she gets back to me soon. I've been thinking of doing this for a long time now, and I've procrastinated enough already...........
@ivannasNorsklife what if I secure a job in Norway already can't I apply for PhD there and work in university as part time PhD and the other part for my company?
I’ve applied for AHO at Oslo without even knowing the new system. Please just don’t I’ve worked so hard but now I can’t go because the uni I ve applied (which is a public uni) is now charging non EU students 33.000 euros. How can anyone even in EU can afford that if they were charged the same price.
Hi Ivanna! How are you? I decide to send this message because I'm looking for a job opportunity in Norway. I'm maritime wiper, STCW III/4. Could you help me? Thanks
Any questions that I haven’t answered in the video?
