I lived in Ghana for about 3 years and this became my favourite dish for the whole time I was there. I left 6 years ago and this is the first time I've stumbled on it again on UA-cam. I feel like I found a long lost friend lol. I will be trying this at the weekend, thank you!! x

One of the quickest and easiest soups to wip up without having to wait for so long. I love it. I grew up eating Okro. The leaves, the dried one, the blended dried one and the fresh one. All tasted delicious. I watched my Grandmas cooked it, my mom, cousin and now cooking it as an adult. Very nice.

Good video and I think it can be improved by adding the timings for each stage of the stew-making process. Say after how many minutes should the okra be made to boil? When should the stock be added to the blended pepper & tomatoes. Also, an audible description of the process would prove very useful.

I made it and it was delicious. the only thing about the video is I had to guess the amount of pepper and time things should cook. I cooked my turkey necks a while so I should have waited a bit to cook my okra. I think I used 2 or 3 peppers. I used frozen okra the store was out of fresh. Next time i will use fresh. but it was delicious thank you
