The worst part is that it feels so close to the end. He'll just have to duel Kojiro. It's heart breaking that we may not see it's end. But this man gives me hope
I really wish our master Inoue publishes a new volume of vagabond soon. My friend recommended me this manga and it's the best one i have read. Not just in manga world but i can say without a doubt it beats books too. I used to read at least 20 chapters before sleep, now... It feels empty... Even when the manga finishes i'll be eager to reread and appriciate the art. Maybe one day i'll be reading this story to someone dear to me. May the wisdom and honor guide your blades fellow swordsman. Don't let the madness rule your mind.
@@Vlad-ts4qd Not over yet , there are some speculations that Vagabond will return when he will regain his desire to continue but before that he's doing his SD movie then REAL and then maybe Vagabond so you are not wrong in reality...
@@Vlad-ts4qd he never said he's done with it. he wanted to take a break from it because he missed most of his children's life as a mangaka that consumed most of his time
The way he conveys subtlety and complex emotion makes him the greatest artist in my opinion. You don’t even need dialogue for majority of his panels. The expressions convey everything
You should see terrible Ivan and his Ivan. The painting. It is one of the best, if not the greatest shows of conveying emotion through a single frame in my opinion. (If ur into art in that sorta way)
Vagabond and Miyamoto Musashi in general made me understand and appreciate life. I know he may never return to Vagabond, but it's beautiful regardless of no ending, even the last exhibit made me appreciate such as good artist like him.
The thing that impresses me about Inoue’s artwork (besides the beauty of it) is he intentionally uses a more difficult tool than your standard mangaka tools such as g-pens, maru pens, etc. it really makes his artwork stand out.
I stopped reading the manga after chapter 170 something because things started to get so good and interesting that I thought: You don't want to read it all if it doesn't have an ending. I would still consider it to be the best manga I've ever read along with speed ball run
The manga is based on Musashi's biography. The only way to end it, as Musashi was a real person, would be to replicate almost exactly what happened to him and is chronicled in the book. It doesn't need an ending as we already knew what happened to Musashi. Just read it and stop whining.
@@FuzzyDlop you do know that the mangaka took several creative liberties with Vagabond right? I know how this clash ended but it's the mangaka narrative and perspective that I would love to see. Have you actually read the story? Feels like you took your comment out of your butt
@@FuzzyDlop Then why write any of the story at all? It's known already, right? (Even though you clearly don't know the real story.) And how in the hell were they whining? They weren't even critical of the decision.
To bo honest it is close to an end. Last thing that have to be done is Kojirou vs Musashi. So you can read it. And well you can check who won as this is well known story.
This is the second video I found of him making these impressive huge paintings. Does anybody know if they are in an art gallery somewhere. I would love to see this art in person
Those who are artist or aren't can appreciate the negative space he uses to create the illusions. I've worked with ink acrylics and simple drawing. Taking advantage of negative space makes the image much more realistic.
While Vagabond is only 2nd in my favourite manga list.... Takehiko is my vote for the GOAT mangaka for 3 reasons 1. Vagabond 2. Slam Dunk 3. @@astraios69420 Thanks for mentioning Billy Bat, anyways that being said, bro dead demons dededede destruction is much better than 20th centuy boys by a mile. I don't want him to continue vagabond coz he gets really stressed I want him to do some other new manga that relates to samurai but can't forget vagabond
Honestly, Takehiko Inoue is extremely overrated. Mainly Inoue stands out, because he draws in a realistic style, which only a few manga artists use. But his work is very stiff, mechanical, and repetitive. Lacking life, style, and imagination.
No. His work breathes life, nature and movement. In vagabond you can see his style evolve and the line of movements being more and more dynamic. He's insanely passionate and talented. His frames are barely sketched and pre-drawn. All of it is drawn from imagination. He's a boss, im surprised someone thinks that of his art.
@@TheElie79 I see where he was going with the style stuff, but for real, i couldn't imagine Vagabond in any other art style, things just resonate so well.
Nah its not, art is more than a product to be treated with shallow words like overrated or whatever. Vagabond specially, there's true life changing shit in it go touch grass before i lose my patience grab my katana
I'm pretty much sure if Inoue sensei completes Vagabond it will go down as one of the best piece of literature ever written(it already is)
Perhaps it is still the best even if it is incomplete
