    You could try putting the chips in foil, prick the foil with a fork and then put the foil packet on the metal grid. That's basically how my hot smoker works.

    Have a couple of tips,wait till the briquettes are white all over and try the soaked chips in the moat with a cup of water.

    Looks absolutely lovely! Thank you for sharing.
    I've been watching the Cobb reviews and have decided to buy one; looking at the kitchen in a bag/box, but have read a few reviews which say that the teflon comes off he griddle. Anyone have any experience with this?

      Not had ours long enough yet, but overall I'm very impressed with the build quality.
