You have always been m y favorite driver , after Johnie Parsons Sr. who I met the year he won Indy. What a great life you've had and thanks for all the memories ! I still hope to meet you some day !
He is so humble, God Bless you A.J. As a little child the first race car I had ever seen was his on display at the Roslyn Bakery in the Southern Plaza shopping center in Indianapolis , Indiana in 1964. Became my favorite ever since.
Watched A.J. race at Playland Park Speedway when I was a kid in the 50's. A.J. and Billy Wade were my favorite drivers. Billy Wade was killed in 1965 during a tire test at Daytona Speedway. A.J. went on to be the best of the best. Love you A.J.
I was a little kid watching the 1977 Indy 500. It was amazing. This man built his own car. I think he called that car the Coyote II. He won his last Indy 500 that day. I remember the announcer remarking on how close to the wall AJ would get. AJ seemed to win by staying to plan, and not giving up. That day, I became an AJ fan. I watched many succeeding Indies, saw many great drivers and teams take the win. But it will always be the red #4 that I remember best. Look at the old footage, AJ's eyes change, shine like steel when he was in the groove.
His first win the year I was born in1961 funny he was always my favorite at INDY I was there when he qualified for his last 500 me and my wife had a hell of a argument about who was driving home I think I had drank a little. Thats why I didn't amount to anything special racing because of booze
It took guts to drive a race car with half your body hanging out of the cockpit seen pictures of some of the things my dad drove in the 50s scare ya to think about driving one of em but I'm damn near 60 now when I was a kid I would have took on a gorilla with a 2 by 4 had no fear but a few spine surgeries and broken arm and leg bones that bullet proof crap goes out the window 😂 ain't a real happy man but I'm still here till God calls me home
The famous race car driver AJ Foyt is the Zodiac killer he even put his name in the Zodiac letters he did blood sacrifices to the evil Moloch so that he would win races.

He could win in a wheelbarrow.
