Lmfao only Jets fans fight with other Jets fans. I remember the first Jets game I ever went to. My father was a Giants fan so when I turned 12, he finally took me to a Jets game. People were smoking crack in the stands, and a bunch of Jets fans got into a huge fight with each other, and my dad turned to me and said, "this is the type of people u wanna be associated with" I said, well, if they're Jets fans they're my family. For better or worse. And it's been for worse, since 1983.

I heard the interview with Mike north live, I didn't take his comments as a bad thing. It was more of that the networks all view the jets as a hot ticket and alot of hype was built last offseason for a great season that we didn't get, and they still want to deliver that product for the fans. He also mentioned how we stayed competitive with out Rodgers and improved this offseason and should be even better. It felt like a little respect being thrown our way. Also FWIW those primetimes last year before the season collapsed were electric. Even the chiefs game, that had a special feel to it so there is something there.

As a lifelong Jets fan I have always felt the team plays better when they are challenged by a better team.
I realize why the schedule is rough for fans going to the stadium, but for us folks watching at home on TV it’s a better schedule, not having to worry about being the guy sneaking peeks at his phone in the middle of a Sunday afternoon family function!
The Bastards still owe us for the Heidi game! I was 10 and living at 233 e 63rd when NBC cost JETS fans aggravation! Joe pulled it out that year of course but still!
I still remember this. As a kid I was psyched to watch Heidi but I figured they would just wait till the end of the game, which I was watching with my dad. My mom didn’t understand what all the fuss was about.
1st three weeks same as Darnold’s first year. Monday (Lions), Sunday (fins), Thursday (Browns). Didn’t work out so well then (1-2)

There's no doubt the league is doing everything it can to turn the Jets into one of the league's glamour teams by giving them so much exposure on national tv. Now it's up to Robert Saleh and the rest of the coaching staff to make sure they take advantage of the opportunity.
There are always trolls out there, they'll complain about everything. I love the back end of the schedule. In Miami when it's not too hot and in NJ when it's cold.

On one hand I’m happy to be able to watch the Jets in primetime games. On the other these quick turnarounds are going to be bad from a health standpoint. Hopefully we make it out of the first half of the season without any major injuries.

Why did they go back to those 80s uniforms? It's not like the Jets had much success while wearing those uniforms in the 80s.

@blissz4 they should wear the Joe Namath era uniforms with white helmets. Those were the uniforms worn when they won their only Super Bowl. The Joe Namath era uniforms were their best-looking uniforms.

There is truth to the schedule being rough for fans going. To make a weekday game a lot of people have to leave work early or take off on game day and either tough out the next morning at work or take off that day entirely. It is what it is though. If the jets didn’t get any primetime games we’d be upset over it too.

Yeah, I thought this comment was a little weird too. Its not like the Jets requested all that Prime Time (To my knowledge at least) We shouldn't owe anything to anyone outside of a good season for our fans. That is the one thing the Jets do owe, us a good season lol
Remember the last game we played in London we got destroyed by Atlanta and they stunk back then it was like 20-0 before halftime..... This year is all about ROBERT SALEH.

Yeah I’m right there with Tyson. I love in booty Cleveland, OH and wanted to go to a home game but there are weird times and with work it’s tough to juggle. Would’ve loved to have a 4:25 home game.

Metlife Stadium is a horrible place to watch a game. I live in Connecticut and take the trip to see the Jets play the Dolphins in Miami every year. So do many other fans from the tri state area.
This is good the jets fans base and ownership , we had some of the most veiws games in primetime last year , so why would the nfl not capitalize on that and try te do it again.
I wouldn’t overlook that game in Arizona, I worry the Jets could be in a stupid spot where they are 7-5 heading into Miami and need to win 2 or 3 of the last 5, and if Miami has a good season and sweep the Jets then the Jets would have to conceivably sweep at Jacksonville, home against the Rams and at Buffalo! Even if they split with Miami, there’s not much of a margin for error, if 10-7 even gets in to the playoffs

The league owes The Jets nothing. Here is the deal.
Jets SuperBowl 3 was a rigged game.
The game was rigged so The Jets could win, beat the mighty Colts, and unite the leagues.
The Jets were immortalized in a fake rigged Super Bowl win, which directly caused NFL AFL merger.
After that, the NFL owes nothing to the Jets & won't think twice about screwing over The Jets.
Likewise, AL Davis went to war for the AFL vs NFL for years before the merger.
Once the merge, the league openly HATES the Raiders.
From the immaculate reception nonsense to another rigged Superbowl, Tampa vs Raiders.
The Jets are front-loaded for prime time because they want to get AR on national TV. The NYC market is the largest, and the league is worried about AR getting hurt.

Not to be a conspiracy theorist but ESPN/NFL/NBC all get better viewership when there's some drama surrounding the Jets. This team is like a reality show, and the worst part is that the coaches feed into it. The jets have sucked on their own without the NFL's interference, but let's not act like the NFL didn't profit off of our suffering for the last decade. I swear Rich Eisen's whole job revolves around crying about the jets (although to be fair, there is a lot to cry about)

Back in the day the Dolphins would get similar treatment when it came to Dan Marino. In one way I understand it. Rodgers is a LEGEND and they expect exciting games when he is playing.
For me personally I see Rodgers as an all time GREAT, but time always wins. I think he is past his prime, and he may make a 1-3 game difference, maybe. I dont think at BEST 10 wins get the Jets into the play offs.

The team can choose to the have a bye after a london game but it would be so early in the season so they must have deferred to have it later.

I think some people are tired of seeing KC win almost like the Patriots, except for the cheating. Get mad at the Thursday, Friday and international games. People say the Jets have done nothing last year. Not to me, since Super Bowl 3. These are not the Same O' Jets. The SOJ's never beat Philly. We'd had to wait another 4 years, to try again, as we kept finishing last. People put their babies thru college, since we last beat NE. If it wasn't for the refs, we should have beat KC. The Ravens, Cincy, Bills, Steelers, Miami (chokers). We should beat them all, staying healthy and on paper. The NFC has 2 teams, SF and Det. You think Purdy faced any team like the Jets? Like Bart Scott says; "Can't wait". This is the best team the Jets ever had on paper, depending on the QB and OL play.
