When u r trying to show the camera (us) something like a hook or something small and the camera can't focus. Use your hand as a backround so the camera can focus on the item. Another great video thanks.
Good point 'Lineman 420'. Great video Mike but the close-ups were out of focus. Thanks for the great tips; keep it coming.
Good ol mike ain’t a videographer he’s just a legend!
when i was a kid back in the 70`s . basically all we had was treble hooks and straight shank / j hooks. but i remember that the straight shank hooks would tear up the worms pretty bad. but i guess that had to do with the type of plastic the worms were made of at the time. they were harder and a lot more firm than they are today . about the only time i use straight shank hooks today is if im using live bait ( minnows and worms ) things have come a long way since my day
They way that you can break it down to simplify each setup is very helpful.
Ike, now a video on choosing the right length of hook foe soft bait!! Love the vids!!
Thanks for this video, makes it very clear, which hook for which application. Love your video's, keep them coming👍.
I love your "In the shop videos" and the links below to purchase the items from Tacklewarehouse. Thanks Ike!!
The Neko hook is legit, been using them since they came out and they've all but replaced my wacky and drop shot hooks. So versatile it's unreal.
You’re a goddamn genius and also my favorite fisherman of all time🙌 thanks for this vid, it helped so much
I think we need to add circle hook to your list, coz I come across so many application that circle will do the job. unless we only talking about bass which we can do with your 4 style, thanks for the great video and info.
Terrific info, Mike. Thanks very much
Anytime Michael!!!
Thanks for perfect understandable explanation.
I knew most of that already, but i still watched it all the way through with no complaints because mike is so knowledgeable lol,
and im glad i did, the one thing i never thought of is snell-hooking a straight shank for flipping, i just always used a texas rig, jig or shaky head to flip into cover
You can snell a wide gap etc hook too.
I use the wide gap for everting . most versatile hook out there and the only one you need . Just my opinion
Amen brother ! sometimes i cant even tell the sizes ,
Thank you for that, I'm always puzzled when picking a hook. That makes it so much simpler for me, your the best Mike.
Rock on!
Thanks for the videos, can’t fish right now but learning never stops
Thanks Mike. Getting the EWG hooks for my 12" Powerbait worms.
Thanks for the tips. You just made things a lot easier. 😎
Thanks Mike, i'll take all the help I can get!
Thank you for this video and in-depth explanation of the various different books. I am new to fishing and I live in Las Vegas where most of the fish in my immediate surrounding area going to be trouts and a few other fish, but no small mouth or big mouth bass. My question to you is are all of these hooks and applications that you mentioned in your video geared towards bass fishing? Would you consider doing another video and go over essential hooks for general fishing, not necessarily only geared towards bass? I’m wondering if the regular offset hook with Sennco style soft bait might work for other spices including trout? Thank you so much! 🙏
Super educational. thanks mike
Great info. Thanks, Mike!
Love the way you explain stuff. Thanks for the video!
Man im glad i ran across your channel!! Great info!
Exactly what I'd been wondering about :-) Good timing.
Man i love the way you talk.
And of course always good info.
What kind of watch do you use?
One with airpressure?
Love your videos Mike but I’m not sure that you know what 1/8th inch is. On one bait you said “ Put it in a little less than 1/8th inch “ I can’t imagine that. Might want to check. Thanks again Mike !
I LOVE YOU MIKE!! you're soooooo helpful
Love the tips Mike, thanks alot for sharing!
Love the info!!!
Great video buddy
Awesome IKE 😎
can you make a full fishing kayak video
Thanks Mike. :-)
I'm completely new to this stuff, when i want to change soft platics do you prefer to keep the same hook and change a sinko to a craw or do you prefer to keep the same hook for each soft plastic and change everything out?
Great info Mike! 👍
Great Tips, Thank you for sharing 🍺🎣🍺🎣🍺🎣
Mike; in another video, you got to show us what that 'Heihei' is all about behind you ..... you've got me too curious.
OMG who's the person holding the camera because I have a headache and I'm only halfway through the video! GREAT GREAT information but everything is so blurry!! SMH!!!!!!
What's a good flipping hook for fluorocarbon and what knot?
For the VMC Offset hook, whats a good overall size? Same question for the Neko Finesse.
I use EWG for thicker worms
Love you man !
more great info... keep it up! #AlwaysBeRecording
Always!
Gotta teach your camera guy which ring focuses and which one zooms...
Please for all you fishermen out there making these videos about hooks use a white drop background
